Ok good palace to spend dat out in Warangal with kids but not found much animals.

Warangal District Administration has constructed the zoo to protect and preserve the sanctity of nature. It was opened for public in 1985.[2] The zoo serves as both the educational and entertainment center. A very good transport facility is available to the zoo. Including TSRTC, many private services provide the means of transport. The nearest railway station is Kazipet Junction, which is 7 km away from the zoo. The Central Zoo Authority of India has ordered to convert the zoo into a national zoological park in 2010, and was planned to do by 2013.[3] The zoo is located on a 50-acre area, and contains a variety of species of birds, animals and reptiles. A few of those include Bear, Leopard, deer, black bear, Ostrich, peacocks, cat jungle, tortoise, rheas, pigeons, golden jackal and crocodiles. Zoo also has a butterfly park. A wilderness zone in the heart of tri-cities

This zoo park, situated opposite the Regional Science Center on Hunter Road in Hanamkonda, provides peace and tranquility to its visitors and is acting as a lungspace in the midst of a growing concrete jungle. At the same time, it aims to educate the people about the importance of conservation of forests, wildlife and environment. It is very popular among school children who visit as part of their school excursion. Recently, the zoo added two Mouse Deers to its collection. It is all set to house a Leopard enclosure very soon. The Zoo Park is spread across 48 acres and surrounded by barren hillocks and the erstwhile siddi samudram tank. While strolling along the path breathing fresh air, one gets a breathtaking view with trees in all directions and lush green lawns. Set up in 1985 it houses animal enclosures displaying Deer, Bear, Crocodiles, Ducks, Swans, Tortoise and a variety of birds. Altogether, there are more than 400 types of animals and birds. It got recognized as small zoo from mini zoo in 2014.
