Tourism and adventure in bhupalapally , Pandavula Guhalu is very worst for climbers. All the officials have very high attitude and doesn't show a hint of gratitude. A few years back, me and our team from GHAC( a govt registered , IMF affiliated non profit adventure club) have explored this area , bolted and developed for improving rock climbing sport, which is now an Olympic sport. Still the authorities are very un cooperative and everytime we come to climb, they make our life harder, without giving permissions properly, charging way more even though we have all our equipment. Not allowing for camping properly, have to beg till their ego is satisfied. Its not one time, everytime we come to climb, they make a nuisance hindering our experience. They just blame it that officers are changed, new rules etc. They don't have any streamlined rules and very unprofessional. We don't have any problem Paying for the development and maintenance of the place but they can't charge us blatantly without reason. If they are doing this to us, I can only imagine what attitude they are showing to normal public. It was good when DFO Ravi kiran was there. Now all the new administration are behaving like illiterates, not even...

If you love nature, big rocks, mythology, archeology and adventure, you must visit this place with archeological significance. The rocks are big yet have ridges and holes in them to make climbing possible. Take the help of a local guide to appreciate the folklore. The paintings are thousands of years old, yet they are still there, so what could they have used? You can test your limits of adventure here. Try climbing the Mekala gundu, if you think you are adventurous. You will be rewarded with breath taking views and a cool breeze even when its sunny. I went in October, but my friends said during rainy season you could see number of small water falls all around. Spending a day here will fill your lungs with fresh air and get you enough exercise. Though there are steep cliffs and rocks, children will also enjoy this place. Perfect spot for one day picnic...

Pandavula Guhalu is a group of caves located in Jayashankar Bhupalpally. The caves are named after the Pandavas, the five heroes of the Hindu epic Mahabharata. According to legend, the Pandavas hid in these caves during their exile. The caves are dated to the Mesolithic period, which is between 10,000 and 5,000 years ago. They contain a variety of rock paintings, including images of animals, humans, and hunting scenes. The paintings are thought to be the work of prehistoric people who lived in the region. Here are some of the things you can do at Pandavula Guhalu: Explore the caves and see the rock paintings. Go rock climbing or hiking in the surrounding area. Enjoy the natural beauty of the area. If you are interested in history, archaeology, or nature, Pandavula Guhalu is a great place to visit.
