The park is well known for 800 years old Banyan tree.Visitors are not allowed to enter near or touch the tree.The tree is thus protected from spoiling by public.An elevated place is erected(in metal) to see the tree,but the grand spread of it is not visible fully. The Zoo is not having large variety of animals.Birds,fishes two crocodiles are main attractions. A small zoo with a not so bad collection animals and a significantly large deer park with a large deer population. Worthy of a visit if you are the Great Banyan Tree nearby.
