Ratnaalayam Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple — Attraction in Telangana

This vast and beautiful temple is located some 30+ Kms from Hyderabad and 25 Kms from Secunderabad. The temple is located just on an arterial road to Karimnagar - Hyderabad Highway/Rajiv Rahadari/Utkoor - Mogdumpur Road. You can easily identify the temple. Outside you have enough space to park your vehicle. Once you enter the temple you will be surprised the see the greenery cultivated inside. Lush lawns, tall trees, creepers, potted plants et al it is green green everywhere. A pathway sidelined by such greenery on both the sides leads you to the entrance of the temple. You climb a few steps and on the left you have a shrine for Lord Ganapati and after prayers you climb few more steps and reach the sanctum sanctorum of Lord Venkateswara with Goddess Padmavati on the right and Andal on the left. After offering your prayers you climb down a few steps and find Lord Anjaneya in a shrine. There is also a separate shrine for Vasavi Kanyaka Parameshwari. Statues of Alwars and a few Avatars of Lord Visnu are found engraved on the gopuram and walls of the temple. The temple is surrounded by Goshala, kids play area etc. There is a function hall also where you can arrange for auspicious events of your household. At a separate space at the left corner you find the place where you can get children tonsured. Inside the temple there is a tulabaram also. The whole atmosphere is idyllic, peaceful, serene. The staff and pandits are very cooperative and kind. It is not just a temple, much more than that. You can take your family on a kind of outing, children would love this place, particularly the kids area, the ponds with idols of Lord Vishnu on his Celestial Abode, Child Krishna dancing on...

Nestled near Shamirpet lake, Ratnaalayam Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple is a truly enchanting and spiritually uplifting place. As I stepped into the temple premises, I was captivated by its cleanliness and serene beauty. The tranquil atmosphere was palpable, making it the perfect spot for morning prayers and connecting with the divine. I was delighted to discover a small canteen within the premises, offering a delicious spread of breakfast and snacks.

What sets this temple apart is its expansive and well-maintained surroundings. The lush gardens, children's play area, and a picturesque fountain adorned with Lord Vishnu's statue added to the charm. Although the snack shop was closed during my visit, it didn't dampen my experience.

Parking is conveniently available outside the temple, although future construction in the neighborhood may pose challenges in the future. However, the temple itself remains a haven of tranquility, even on crowded days. It is an ideal destination for a family outing, where one can enjoy a picnic under the shaded trees while relishing homemade food.

Visiting on Saturdays is highly recommended, though it closes briefly in the afternoon before reopening. The temple is beautifully decorated, and one can even opt for an archana ticket to have a closer darshan of the deity.

Very devotional temple. Must visit. It is located in a very spacious area. A kids play area is also available. Pulihora served by them as Prasadam once darshan completed. Archana ticket cost is 20/- for family. Better to take it so that we can have darshan very close. Aksharabhyasam is also done here. Stage/Mandapam is also available below the temple area for marriages. Laddu Prasadam is also available. Parking space Awesome temple full clean and neat, well maintained..... Temple closes 1 pm and re-opens 4 pm till 9 pm There is a lot of play games to kids and peaceful place to sit. Ghoshala is there... Om namo narayana 🙏
