I am deeply disappointed with the way this temple is being managed. The people here are not just unhelpful; they are complete looters who scam visitors under the guise of spirituality. Instead of a peaceful and fulfilling experience, our visit was traumatic, with every step being designed to force donations from us. They looted us with a forced donation of 24600/-

It began with a small donation request of ₹1100, which seemed harmless at first. But as we moved further into the temple, the pressure started. They coerced us into paying ₹9200 for a "Jodi vigrah of Radha krishna" donation, Later said it was mandatory to make the payment twice as its for the jodi. The person in charge even told us, “I won’t let you leave without making payment again as its for the jugal jodi.”

As if that wasn't enough, they took us to a glass room where the deities are kept, continuing to deceive and pressure us into giving more. After we had already paid a significant amount, they still weren't satisfied. When we were about to leave, the security guard separated us. He took me outside and told me to perform a ritual, while my husband was cornered by another person who forced him to pay an additional ₹32,000. Despite saying we had no more money left, they kept pushing, and by the time I returned, they had managed to make my husband pay ₹5100 more.

This was an appalling experience. It felt like a well-planned scam, where the sole aim was to empty our pockets. It's not that we didn’t want to donate, but to be forced into doing so, without regard for our financial situation, is unacceptable. I hope others will read this review and avoid getting trapped in the same scam.

If you are planning to visit, I would recommend keeping a distance from these people. The true spirit of devotion is clearly lost here, replaced by greed and manipulation. I sincerely hope that the authorities take notice and put an end to these exploitative practices.

God bless them, but this was an experience I would never wish on anyone....

📖 इतिहास की झलक:

दानघाटी नाम इस कारण पड़ा क्योंकि भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने गोप-गोपियों से यहाँ दान माँगा था।

यहाँ गिरिराज जी की एक सुंदर प्रतिमा स्थापित है, जिसे "शिला रूप" में पूजा जाता है।

मंदिर कई बार पुनर्निर्मित हुआ है, और आज का स्वरूप आधुनिक व्यवस्थाओं के साथ पारंपरिक शैली को दर्शाता है।

⭐ व्यक्तिगत अनुभव: मंदिर परिसर साफ़-सुथरा है, पंडे-पुजारियों का व्यवहार शालीन है, लेकिन त्योहारों पर भीड़ अधिक होती है। पास में गोवर्धन पर्वत के दर्शन और परिक्रमा का अनुभव मन को अद्भुत शांति देता है।
