टिक्सी मंदिर - धूमेश्वर महादेव मंदिर, इटावा, उत्तर प्रदेश में स्थित है। इस विशिष्ट हिंदू मंदिर में स्थापित शिवलिंग की स्थापना पांडवों के गुरु महर्षि धौम्य ने की थी। यमुना नदी के किनारे छिपैटी घाट है इसी घाट के पास में धूमेश्वर महादेव का मंदिर है। मंदिर के प्रवेश द्वार से ही सीढ़ियाँ शुरू होती और आप को प्रथम ताल पर ले जाती ही यहाँ से यमुना जी का छिपैटी घाट का सुन्दर दृश्य मिलता है ये सीढ़ियाँ आगे दुसरे तल पर मंदिर में पहुँचती हैं जहाँ प्राचीन धूमेश्वर शिवलिंग स्थापित है इसी तल पर मंदिर के पीछे इटावा का विहंगम दृश्य बेहद मनोहारी दिखाई देता है।

मंदिर के इसी तल से दूसरी तरफ सीढ़ियाँ नीचे उतरती हैं जहां महर्षि धौम्य का आश्रम था और अब उनकी समाधी है। वनवास के दौरान पांडवो ने धौम्य को अपने पुरोहित के रुप में स्वीकार किया था। ये आश्रम महाभारत कालीन पांचाल क्षेत्र का सबसे बड़ा अध्ययन केन्द्र था। यहां दूर-दूर से विद्यार्थी और राजघराने के राजकुमार शिक्षा ग्रहण करने के लिए आते थे।

महर्षि धौम्य के शिष्य गुरु के प्रति इतना आदर एवं श्रद्धा रखते थे कि वे कभी उनकी आज्ञा का उल्लंघन नहीं करते थे। धौम्य ने प्रथम दिन ही अपने शिष्य आरुणि की परीक्षा ली। उस दिन खूब वर्षा हो रही थी, धौम्य ने आरुणि से कहा कि वर्षा में खेत की मेंड बाँध आओ ताकि वर्षा का पानी खेत में ही रहे, बाहर न आए। आरुणि गुरु की आज्ञा पाकर बाँध देखने गया। उसने देखा कि मेंड टूट गयी है और पानी तेज़ी से बह रहा है। पानी रोकने के उसके सारे प्रयास व्यर्थ गये तो वह स्वयं पानी को रोकने के लिये मेड बन पूरी रात लेटे रहे थे।

स्थानीय लोगो का मानना है की टिक्सी मंदिर अंग्रेजो द्वारा नाम दिया गया था पर इसका कोई लिखित प्रमाण नहीं मिलता, इस मंदिर का निर्माण 1780 में इटावा शहर के अंगद राय अग्रवाल के द्वारा कराया गया था।
