The Chandrabadni Devi Temple is a Hindu shrine, located in a tiny hamlet called Jamnikhal Chandrabadni Temple is a one of the Shakti Peeths and holy shrine of Goddess Sati. A place of faith and devotion, Chandrabadni Temple lies at an height of 2277 mtrs on Chandrabadni mountain which was also known as Chandrakoot mountain in history. Devotees from far away place comes here for worshipping Goddess Sati and take blessings.
Chandrabadni Temple is located on the place where torso of Goddess Sati fell while Lord Shiva was taking away her burned body. Her weapons were also scattered over the place. There is no idol of Goddess Sati present in the main shrine and a Shree Yantra carved on a flat stone is being worshipped in the main shrine. In the month of April every year, a fair is organize in Chandrabadni Temple and attended by devotees in large numbers. Chandrabadni Temple is now decorated with white tiles and marble floor.
