Its 6kms away from the main city and we had to rent a car to reach there. The entry ticket is Rs 12 per person and you have a climb down a few steps to reach the lake . The lake is an artificial lake built in the middle of the compound. All around the compound there are gift, game and food shops. There is a haunted house too. You can also do zip lining from the stairs till the lake, then you wouldnt have to climb down the stairs. The zip line is small and costs only 300 per person but the people working on the zip line are no professional . They will not give you any training and they stop you at the other end with a rope which is very abrupt and you might get a little hurt. The boating charges are Rs 60 per person but I would suggest that you do boating near bhatta falls, the lake there is quite big and prettier. You can also do zorbing and paragliding here. There is a small park built inside the compound for clicking pictures but that also has an entry ticket

Mussourie The queen of hills It's really very mesmerizing place for nature lovers. I was really surprised to see this beauty in lap of Mussourie. I thank to my friend who suggested me to visit here. Mussoorie Lake It is a man-made lake which was developed by City Board and the Mussoorie-Dehradun Developmental Authority. The lake is placed at a scenic location about 6 km before Mussoorie on the Dehradun-Mussoorie Road. One can get down at Dhobi Ghat from where the lake is just at a walking distance. Surroundings of the lake include the mesmerizing views of Doon Valley and the verdant hills of Mussoorie. There are pedalled boats to enjoy the calmness of the lovely lake. It is a perfect picnic spot for family and couples to spend fun and quality time. Monsoon is the best time to visit the as the lake looks most beautiful during that time of the year. There is a nominal entry fees and the lake is open all days of the year. Shops offering refreshments are there to provide refreshments to the visitors. Mussorie Lake is one of the fine place to enjoy at Mussorie. It is in way from Dehradun to Mussorie. At the moment you enter there, they charge a maintenance tickets which is very nominal. Then there are stairs to go do or you can take flying swing in mid way to go down. After reach to the point, there’s a small lake where you can do boating and some other activities and you also got a lot of option to eat n drink there. On the another side of lake, there’s a setup of advanced activities where you can do paragliding, giant swing, adventure round, cycle on rope and there are many more which is gonna be a good thrilling experience. Overall a good point to cover when you go there.

Dressing up traditionally in Mussorie, doing things the local way!!Mussoorie 2021. . . . It was amazing to dress up like the locals and feel the true vibes of the place. Garhwali and Kumaoni are the ethnic communities of the state Uttarakhand, in India. The traditional dresses are adapted to the weather conditions and our customized by the craftsmen from the region. They are opulent, vibrant, colorful, yet simple. The designs on the dresses are made with great thread work adding the gold and silver to make it special for occasions. They ornate the dresses beautifully with intricate jewellery which completes the entire attire and celebrates the region.

परिवार एवं मित्रों के साथ समय बिताने के लिए आते हैं। यहां उपलब्ध नौकायन और टॉय ट्रेन की सुविधा बच्चों को खासा लुभाती है। यही नहीं, यह स्थल पिकनिक मनाने के इच्छुक लोगों में बहुत ही लोकप्रिय है। नाग देवता मंदिर कार्ट मेकेंजी रोड पर स्थित यह प्राचीन मंदिर मसूरी से लगभग 6 कि॰मी॰ दूर है। वाहन ठीक मंदिर तक जा सकते हैं। यहां से मसूरी के साथ-साथ दून-घाटी का सुंदर दृश्य दिखाई देता है। मसूरी झील मसूरी-देहरादून रोड पर यह नया विकसित किया गया पिकनिक स्पॉट है, जो मसूरी से लगभग 6 कि॰मी॰ दूर है। यह एक आकर्षक स्थान है। यहां पैडल-बोट उपलब्ध रहती हैं। यहां से दून-घाटी और आसपास के गांवों का सुंदर दृश्य दिखाई देता है। वाम चेतना केंद्र टिहरी बाई-पास रोड पर लगभग 2 कि॰मी॰ की दूरी पर यह एक विकसित किया गया पिकनिक स्पॉट है, इसके आसपास पार्क है जो देवदार के जंगलों और फूलों की झाड़ियों से घिरा है। यहां तक पैदल या टैक्सी/कार से पहुंचा जा सकता है। पार्क में वन्य प्राणी जैसे घुरार, कण्णंकर, हिमालयी मोर, मोनल आदि आकर्षण के मुख्य केंद्र हैं। सर जॉर्ज एवरेस्ट हाउस 6 कि॰मी॰ की दूरी पर भारत के प्रथम सर्वेयर जनरल सर जॉर्ज एवरेस्ट की दि पार्क एस्टेट है, उनका आवास और कार्यालय यहीं था, यहां सड़क मार्ग से पहुंचा जा सकता है। विश्व की सबसे ऊंची चोटी माउंट एवरेस्ट का नाम इन्हीं के नाम पर रखा गया है। ज्वालाजी मंदिर (बेनोग हिल) मसूरी से 9 कि॰मी॰ पश्चिम में 2104 मी. की ऊंचाई पर ज्वालाजी मंदिर स्थित है। यह बेनोग हिल की चोटी पर बना है, जहां माता दुर्गा की पूजा होती है। मंदिर के चारों ओर घना जंगल है, जहां से हिमालय की चोटियों, दून घाटी और यमुना घाटी के सुंदर दृश्य दिखाई देते हैं। क्लाउड्स एंड यह बंगला 1838 में एक ब्रिटिश मेजर ने बनवाया था, जो मसूरी में बने पहले चार भवनों में से एक है। अब इस बंगले को होटल में बदला जा चुका है, क्लाउड्स एंड कहे जाने वाला यह होटल मसूरी हिल के एकदम पश्चिम में, लाइब्रेरी से 8 कि॰मी॰ दूर स्थित है। यह रिजार्ट घने जंगलों से घिरा है, जहां पेड़-पौधों की विविध किस्में हैं साथ ही यहां से हिमालय की हिमाच्छादित चोटियां और यमुना नदी को देखा जा सकता है। विदेशी पर्यटकों और हनीमून पर आने वाले दंपत्तियों के लिए यह सबसे उपयुक्त रिजार्ट है।
