This small lake was initially constructed by the cantonment board of Indian army for the purpose of rainwater harvesting but now primarily used for boating. Though the place is maintained by Cantonment board the washrooms are in a very bad condition but overall the area is clean.

The unexpected variety of activities it offered made it worthwhile.
To begin with, feeding the fish. Kids went crazy when they fed the fish . Colour and all sizes, a sight it was. ( Fish food available at the lake in packets and loose form at different denominations. Small packets cost ₹ 10 each. )
Paddle boat which could accommodate 4-5 people was a fun ride. Kids enjoyed it thoroughly. And reasonable as well , ₹70 for a boat for one round of jheel ( approx 10-15 mins)
Zip line over the jheel was an exhilarating experience priced ₹100 per person .
Swings were also there for kids - slides, see saw etc.
Kids tried these and were more than happy.
More activities like Zorbing , Water Roller, Bamboo Bridge etc were also there.
No entry fee for the park or basic swings. Each activity had a certain price.
For eats, the vendor at the entry gate was neat and clean. Maggie and Chowmein were relished.
