Well this place is truly amazing and mind blowing. It offers exquisite and spectacular panaromic view of turquoise tehri lake with huge mountains on the other side. It has many things to offer from food joints to water activities to ATV rides. A must go place if you're visiting rishikesh, haridwar or dehradoon. Water activities are the main course of attraction here. Jet ski, speed boat, surfing, jet attack, banana boat rides etc can be enjoyed here. Prices vary depending upon the activity. Jet ski and 30 minutes jet attack are the best go to go things which you will truly enjoy here. Because of fresh water, water activities are much more good and enjoyable if compared with doing activities in sea like Goa. In the evening post 4pm you can enjoy taking stroll through the walking trail right on the side of the lake which offers good view points and seating options. ATV rides are also available at flat Rs 250 per head for some 1.5 km right on the side of the lake. Because of the ongoing covid scenario few activities are only available. A one stop place for a lot of water sports/rides. Located on the water reservoir created by Tehri Dam, the water is decently clean for sports activities. The rides include speed boating, banana rides, motor boat, jet ski, para sailing, etc. The place is located around 40kms from main New Tehri city. The prices are a bit on the higher side for my liking, for e.g. a speed boat ride costs 500-600 INR per person for a round of 15 mins ( which includes 3-4 minutes of stoppage at a point for photos ) leaving you approx 8-9 minutes of actual speed boating, add 2-3 minutes of boarding and deboarding the boat. You feel excited when the ride starts, get bumps and bounces and water splashes in between the rides, to add to the fun, but it soon ends even before you realize, leaving you a feeling of a promise unfulfilled !! I didn't dare to spend a whopping 1000 for a 30 min ride !! It was still a nice experience overall, but felt that the place could be a bit better managed and made affordable and the place needs more development to become a nice picnic...
