ISKCON Gangasagar Mandir — Attraction in West Bengal

We had stayed at ISKCON temple with our family. Since my parents do not eat onion and garlic, I preferred to stay there. Temple is still under construction but guest house is completed. Room is very neat and clean and spacious too. Very peaceful environment. Saints are humble, good behaved and co-operative. For food( breakfast, lunch and Dinner) at ISKCON, you have to inform them one day prior and on the day first collect coupon from reception.

From there you can hire e-rickshaw for bath at Gangasagar Beach and Kapil Muni Temple. Rate chart is pasted on every e-rickshaw. For a reserve trip (pick up from Iskcon temple then bath then kapil muni temple and then drop at Iskcon temple) they will charge 250.

There is no shop near temple. So do not forget to carry your imergency medicines or any snacks ( if you want).
