Prakriti Bhavan is a museum of nature arts in Ballavpur area, very close to Sonajhuri Haat in Shantiniketan. This museum is founded by Subrata Basu. They have an open outdoor garden space filled with rock sculptures and indoor displays of nature artifacts made of dry wood, rock, stone and metal. They are open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm everyday. They also have a museum canteen to relish matka chai and local snacks. The most awestrucking moment would be to know that none of the sculptures and artifacts have had a human touch. Amazing place to find some amazing collection of wooden piece of structure found naturally however you need to look at it from an artists eye to get the meaning of the art. The pieces of wood, tree are naturally found in such shapes which tries to tell something meaningful. However to understand the inner meaning you need to talk to a guide, who will explain you the meaning and the collector's name without charging anything. Prakriti bhaban is situated just baside sonajhuri haat. It has 2main galleries. Visitors can visit them with an entry fee of 30 rupees per person. They will also charge you 20 rupees for mobile photography and 50 for video camera. You can take a Toto to visit this place. It has public toilet inside it.

Another renowned spot of Bolpur Shantiniketan, on the way of sona jhuri forest to amar kutir this museum is situated . The speciality of museum is how nature created the art. Rain, sun ,natural changes etc changed the trees the rocks etc ,(no human intervention) and crafted to art , some of them very accurate that no need for imagination. There are 4 galleries inside prakiti vaban and a hotel is also there.
