It takes a lot of time to get inside the reserve. There is a permission of sorts that needs to be taken before you enter, which ends up taking too much time. It is the job of the ferry guys to take the permission for you. Once you are inside, the whole area starts off with a museum, garden and ponds here and there. There is lush greenery everywhere. A stroll through the area brings you closer to certain captive animals, and nature.

Good place to observed the wildlife but Dobaki watch tower is the best among all watch towers in sundarbans. It may take second position to observed wildlife. Here some precautions may be taken for monkey. Bee nests are also observed here. Artificial breeding of tortoises can also be shown here. Some handicrafts of local people may be published from this place.

A very good place to visit which has zero maintenance, you have to take a guide which is compulsory. There is one watchtower and a museum, from the watchtower we couldn't stop anything and the museum was closed due to Covid. Generally, crocodiles and turtles are spotted here but we were unlucky that we couldn't stop anything.

Sajnakhali Wildlife Sanctuary is a 362 km2 area in the northern part of the Sundarbansdelta in South 24 Parganas district, West Bengal, India. The area is mainly mangrove scrub, forest and swamp. It was set up as a sanctuary in 1976. It is home to a rich population of different species of wildlife, such as water fowl, heron, pelican, spotted deer, rhesus macaques, wild boar, tigers, water monitor lizards, fishing cats, otters, Olive ridley turtle, crocodiles, Batagur terrapins, and migratory birds. Sajnakhali is situated 130 km from Kolkata. Canning is the nearest railway station of it. Ferry service towards Sajnakhali is available from Gosaba.
