Im still in this place while im writing this... So here is the honest review
First you need to know, this place was an unmanaged nature-cave until 2019 (so its free to come, you only need pay some local to guide you)
But since 2019 its well-managed by locals So they built the lobby, lounge, changing room with towel, etc The entrance fee is : For 1 person : IDR 200.000 For 2 person : RP 350.000 (if im not mistaken) For 5 person : RP 700.000 (if im not mistaken)
The point is : the bigger the team, the cheaper you get So if you want cheaper price, dont hesitate to join/invite others visitor.
Next, youll get locker for your stuff, and use ready-to-wet clothes and pants.. You will get a tour guide to explore the cave He will bring waterproof bag to keep your camera, phones, etc
Then the adventure begin, they will guide you to the start point of the cave
Please note : when its summer, the water level is low, when its rainy season, the water level is high. The higher water level the more amazing it is (my opinion)
The guide will know your ability, and they will suggest you which track to go. When i was there, its summer, so the water level is low. So there are 2 track options to go : Walking in the water Climbing on the sideswall In winter season, option number 1 might not be available.
Number 1 is easy peezy, they will guide you for number 1 if youre an old ages or having bad balances
But my guide, mr.Pas guide me to climbing track on the sidewall...i dont know why. Maybe he saw me as a young who has great stamina and energic (im pretty sure) That track i walked through, is pretty hard and requires balances.
So that we went pretty slowly, and there are 2 indians woman (mom and daugther) walking faster in the water passing us. I asked my guide "hey why we going on this climb, walking in the water is much faster"
He replied: "as long as you got enough energy, its better this track. I bet you that you only come here once.. If we go through easy way, youll curious how its like going through hard way. But if we going the hard way, you wont curious how its like going through the easy way. Just like walking in the pond!"
Well, i agreed with him! So we keep on walking the hard way...and i thank him for that. Some visitors walk passing us because of that.
One more thing, he brought me to "hidden cave" that others guide dont bring the visitors there. Its a big bonus, because the cave is amazing! For you who read this long review, here is the bonus for you : Ask your guide "please bring us to the cave that used to PKI (it was rebel) hiding in the past"
That hidden cave is about 100m long inside, but i only came about 10meters inside. The far you go, the darker it is, and you need a lights. Its pretty scary.
I was the only visitor that came to the cave that day...thankyou Mr.Pas, and you all should thank me for this review so u can go there as well! Haha
In the end of the track, there is a huge swing. You can swing like a tarzan! Is an amazing experience.
Thats all my honest review. Hope you enjoy...

It's definitely not for children or elderly. Visit this hidden canyon at summer because sometimes they close the attraction because of the river or dam or weather, and it's too dangerous.
You must use a local guide to lead the way for you and this is a must, don't ever think because you're an expert rock climbing, powerful bla bla bla then you refuse to use a guide. Two year ago this place is very difficult to track, but now the local guide make it easier but still need a lot of effort to walk from start to the end. So follow exactly what the local guide told you. Wear a short pants and bring small backpack, because at certain point you'll get wet. Maybe better a pants like for swimming or for the beach. Some people prefer to walk in the water, but perhaps walk or swim in the water more dangerous than climb or crawl the cliff, because you don't know under water landscape, maybe there's sharp rocks or anything that'll harm you. Don't ever afraid or shy to ask the guide to help you walk or climb...
The canyon it self was spectacular, amazing and jaw falling scenery. It's really worth every single step you walked. The water color, the cliff color and rocks everywhere so beautiful, like walk in the other world. Near the end of the track, you'll find a swing made by local people, so you can take photos.
Please give a decent tip to the local guide, because their income was so small for a single trip to guide a guest. Sometimes when the attraction closed due to the weather, so they get nothing. Maybe they should consider to raise ticket fee, right now the ticket...
Read moreYes yes yes!!!! What an amazing place! TIPS: take swim wear, a spare pair of clothes, cash. It is 125k Rupiah for 1 person, and 150k for 2 people. This includes a guide (MUST have) towels at the end and small bottles of water. There are lockers to put away big bulky stuff. Trust me, you want your hands free to climb and swim the canyon. And you get WET. The guides are very knowledgeable and friendly. They carry essential items such as phones, cameras and wallets in a waterproof bag. Also you dont wear shoes for most of the canyon so they have a baggie for that also. From the get go you are climbing over rocks, walking in the waterbed (careful there are small rocks at the bottom) The rocks are slippery, wet and sometimes mossy so be careful. But the guide tells you exactly where to put your feet and hands so just follow their directions. You navigate three canyons and the water level can get up to neck deep. The water is a little cold but in Bali it is welcomed and even refreshing. There are some places you can swim instead of climbing the rock face, but the current can also be quite strong. The guides also stop and encourage photo taking at special spots. Once you get through all 3 canyons there is a rope swing which was so much fun. And you can drink the natural spring water. Then there is a little rest stop where you can buy some coconuts, drinks and snacks before you make the final walk through rice paddies back to the reception. Take some sunscreen for this part as the sun beats down on you. In the canyon you are mostly in the shade. Best times to go, probably about 11. Too early or too late and it will be too dark in the canyon for good photos. A total Must Do in Bali. Beat experience...
