I recently had the pleasure of spending an afternoon at Kulidan Kitchen & Space, located in the Sukawati area of Gianyar, Bali. This charming café offers an iconic view of the lush green rice fields, creating a serene and picturesque setting that is perfect for relaxation.
The coffee at Kulidan Kitchen & Space was a highlight of my visit. It was perfectly balanced, with just the right mix of cream, coffee, and sugar, making it a delightful beverage for any coffee lover. The iced chocolate was also a treat, offering the perfect level of sweetness without being overly sugary.
The ambiance of the café was further enhanced by the delightful sounds of birds chirping around the green grass. This natural soundtrack added to the overall tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Read moreIt's places like this that I love about Bali so much.. When you look at Kulidan on the map, it seems to be in the middle of nowhere. But then you get there, and you're surprised by the welcoming atmosphere and the warm and beautiful garden.
The restaurant is ran by a bunch of younger guys who are very friendly and helpful. But what they most importantly are, is great cooks and baristas. Because by god is the food good.. I've never had a chicken burger that was as crispy, yet tender and moist as the one I had at Kulidan. And the coffee with the hand baked cookie we had as desert was just... chef's kiss.. or barista's kiss? You know what I mean! Oh yeah, and it's somehow the only place on Bali that knows how to bake crispy chips.
Oh also, there are cats roaming the garden who are very friendly and adorable. That alone is a win in my book.
The prices are cheaper than average on Bali.
So yeah, add this place to your holiday planning. The only thing you'll regret is that you didn't visit it...
Read moreGreat place with an awesome indoor/outdoor vibe, and a lovely team☺️ It’s a big space surrounded by rice fields and plenty of gorgeous plants, and the air flow is amazing so we spent a few hours working and brunching. The menu has a great lot of options to choose from, and the mee goreng is derish!! 🤤 The onion rings is a specialty and a must try!! We also had the chicken burger and finished with the French toast, both equally tasty. The drinks are on the sweeter side so I asked the staff if they could make me a soda, lime & mint which they were happy to(refreshing as), and we had a couple double espresso over ice to finish off. All in all a lovely experience and look forward to coming back here...
