If you want to see ogoh-ogoh but you are a person who are looking to avoid large crowds or can't visit Bali during Nyepi, this place offers a fantastic alternative! They have a collection of over 20 ogoh-ogoh on display, including a massive one you can take a photo with. The ogoh-ogoh are incredibly detailed, standing tall at 3-5 meters and portraying God or fierce creatures. The owner is very knowledgeable and provides interesting insights about the ogoh-ogoh tradition.
This museum is a fantastic resource to learn about and experience Balinese culture. The entrance fee is 20k IDR per person (as of March 2024). Please keep in mind since most ogoh-ogoh are crafted from styrofoam and paper, they are quite fragile. It's always a good idea to ask the owner before touching it.
Outside the museum, there are hawker stalls selling variety of local food and beverages, so you can grab a bite to eat after your visit. Overall, I highly recommend visiting this place! I was so happy to see and take photos with Shiva, Barong, Rangda, and other...
Read more(English/Thai Review)

You can park across the street from the museum, where staff will guide you to a spot. After that, just walk across to enter the museum. The entrance fee is around 20,000 rupiah per person, or about 40 baht.
When we visited, we were lucky enough to meet the owner of the museum. It was a good thing we had a guide with us, because the staff spoke only a little English and there were no brochures or information available in English.
The artworks inside, however, were truly beautiful and impressive—definitely worth seeing at least once. You can jot down the names of each god or demon and look them up later.
This is definitely one of the places I recommend visiting in Bali. Right across the street, there’s also a shop selling Balinese drinks...
Read moreA great range of amazing sculptures that have so much motion, energy and grotesqueness. The owner is a passionate and friendly man whose enthusiasm for the subject was infectious. If you are on the way from Denpasar to Ubud or Bedugul it's absolutely worth the slight detour. The combo of this, Taman Ayun Temple and the Yadna museum make it worth a day trip to get some culture and history into you- not...
