Coastarina — Attraction in Batam City

Wanted to check out this place while we were in Batam for a weekend getaway. There was a small entrance fee about Rp25.000 per pax.

It’s a huge park that was perhaps meant to be a carnival area but most of the rides were not available during our visit. Maybe they only operate in the evening. We went there on a Sunday afternoon.

Decided to rent the tandem bicycle which was Rp30.000 for an hour. The bicycle was quite wormed down and the seat was super hard. It was still quite fun cos we wouldn’t rent such a bike back home.

This is a good place to take a stroll along the beach or if families wanna come and have picnic etc. maybe more shops would open in...

This place is undermaintained , alias , place is not clean and not really good. It's a pretty big area with a lot of recreational object such as a ferris wheel near seaside , and a lot of food stand , but most of them are closed. For photos , it's really meh, a lot of seaside places look better than this. If the developer able to charge 25000 rupiah fee to enter , it should be not as bad as this. This place only deserve a free entry. Overall , would not come again unless some big changes...

Ok.. This is what they locals call Batam Centre but it's at the edge of the North West part of the Island... So Lots of open vieuyand wind. Watching the #ships go by on a lazy day 🌞 you can hire a #becak or spend your time with family picknick... You can bring tour own food... and drinks but of course on the big square also available.
