This place has great potential, yet is disappointing. For two adults and one child, tickets are not cheap at 860,000rp. Then upon arrival there’s added costs of feeding animals, buggy service (good for young kids but also expensive at 500,000rp). For the price, I would say the experience is not worth it. We did the buggy service as we have young children. The cost of our morning outing was equivalent to Singapore Zoo, yet left much to be desired. A lot of animals kept in a poor state, the tortoise enclosure stank and was very dirty. A lot of the water holes for the animals, including for the alligators and croc were green, definitely not healthy environment for them, monkeys kept in small cages, Komodo dragon in a small glass enclosure. The staff member who took us around in the buggy said some of the Orangutan’s were sick and seemed like many animals were no longer there as they had died. The safari has fantastic land and could potentially have better improved enclosures for the animals, seems like they need to hire a specialist that knows how to care for the animals better. Entranceway also needs proper road, owner needs to stop spending money on ‘nice’ animal art and instead spend it on the essentials. This safari is so close by to many new hotels in the area and has a golden opportunity to improve for surely an increased...
Read moreA horrific place where elephants have their front legs tied up so they can't move the whole day. They asked our kids to feed them and that's when they untied them and used a very sharp weapon to make them kneel down.we were horrified and realised whole place is basically an unregulated zoo where they display wildlife for cash. There is elephant ride and a show as well. We expected to see farm animals but there were wildlife kept in confined places. Such a mistake to have gone there. We should have done our research and all tourists should avoid...
