That was the first time, I visited this place. This place is not friendly for elderly visitors. We found the disappointed experience while we brought our 70yrs' aunt, when she could not proceed to walk to the exit of the place, which has to climb the high bridge before you can reach the exit door. We asked the security to find another "friendly" short-cut that can help our aunt faster to reach the exit door, he suggested us to find one door near the entrance, but when we reached there, another security did not allow us to pass. He only allowed my aunt, herself, to pass that door and the others have to go back and climb the bridge to reach exit door. 😡 it did not make any sense! He said that the door only used for the project teams to pass. Then we have to take some time to argue and asked him to contact his superior. Well, it's not his fault, we understood, because the management ruled that. We appreciate that security by the way, his name is Dedi W. He tried to help us by contacting his superior. And finally we can pass that door.
This place do not fully enforce the health and safety protocole. 😵
Updated... As the management has promised to upgrade the services and the system, so we do hope that everything will be perfect soon... That will make this place real interesting, safe and comfortable for the senior visitors. Keep up the good work 👍🏻👍🏻...

It is only 50 minutes drive fron semarang,
And the place is very spacious.
The enterance has that stupa building that is the signature of the dusun semilir.

Once you have the ticket, you can go in to the building, to find a massive offering of merchandise and snacks before entering the entertainment complex.
If you manage to succeed in passing thst first obstacles, you can go in to the entertainment complex but first you have to go through the foodcourt first.
To pay for food in the foodcourt, you have to puchase prepaid card and pay to those merchants with the prepaid card.
Once you get in, a photographer will ask to take your picture so you can print it out later for a fee.
Then you will have two options to go left to the complex or right to the mini zoo where you can feed koi fish, goose, and otter.
To the ĺeft you can go into the bird cage ladder which will ultimatelt take you to their famous rainbow slides.

Read moreIt seems the ticket price changes a lot. We were charged IDR 40,000 and got 10k discount for food (there's a 50k discount for studio photo also, but since we had no plan to use it, it's of no value to us--around 100-150k per person, depending on how big your group is). It's just that you can only use 1 voucher every 75k, so--considering the prices of the food--most of the time you can only use 1 out of 2 vouchers you get.
Payment method is inconsistent. We were advised to use the park's card, but it seems a lot of vendors accept cash also.
The Park doesn't seem to enforce good standards for the UMKM vendors. Most of them are clean enough, but quite a few are not. They do not keep the areas around their stalls clean. Some abandoned stalls even look... well, abandoned. Dirty and unkempt.
Otherwise, lots of photo spots, almost all of them man-made. Notable attractions are the giant slide, horse riding, train, mini zoo, and canal boat ride. They need additional payment, but are quite cheap.
There's a food street, open area, ghost house, Korean area, European area and probably other things I hadn't noticed.
Food was so so, and the main food court was kind of understaffed.
Also, it's crowded when...
