The dolphins are amazing creatures and we are always glad to see them, but this time I have really not nice feeling after seeing this park and poor animals there.
During the recent visit, we observed dolphins being kept in extremely poor conditions. The animals appeared to be unwell, and the facilities were overcrowded and unhygienic, raising serious concerns about their welfare. We believe these conditions are not only harmful to the dolphins but also violate ethical standards for wildlife care. The whole place and its facilities were extremely old, unhygienic and very smelly like some animal was dead. The dolphins have only one small pool under the sun, only 3 m depth with very warm and not clean water, in total 9 dolphins for this pool. During the show the older ones are captivated in a very small place next to the main pool during the whole day, while the visitors are playing with the smaller ones (4 dolphins). During the show we noticed that the dolphin has not even one tooth, which was extremely weird and to our question we didn't receive any answer in the beginning. Later the guide told us that they have rescued the dolphin from the Java sea and it was already without teeths and probably they were toren by some net. This is a very weird explanation and really realistic because in this case some of the teeths will be missing but not totally all. If I would know in advance about all this, I wouldn’t go to this place again. We also noticed in many places where they offer their famous Luvak coffee wild animals captivated in small cages forced to eat coffee beans. And these animals normally live in the mountain in much colder places. Not sure why the government allows private people to use wild animals like this and not control this. In the best case these places should be sponsored by some organizations to make a good conditions to the animals or being...
Read moreThe interaction with dolphins itself is good, but the management is so poor!!! Poor management: We went there with our 2-year-old yesterday for 11:00am Encounter session. A staff led us into the area, after waiting for some minutes, he came back telling us to wait on the pool deck, the dolphins will come to us after jumping out of water for Explorer guests. But right the time we were stepping on the deck, a foreign guy, should be the manager, came and shouted at us something like “stay away from the pool”, I said “Sorry?” because I didn’t hear him clearly, then he became more impatient and arrogant, repeated. My husband told him a staff told us to do so, he said “who? The coffee table boy? “ Hey, how should we know if he’s a coffee table boy? He is the one who led us in, OK? Then this manger walked to his team, gave some instructions, and just left! No explanation, no apologize! Waiting time too long: When we were paying 3 days ago, we were told to arrive 30 minutes before the session, if we are late, our schedule will be automatically decrease. So we arrived about 40 minutes before the 11:00 session, waited there for long long long time. We could see some people arrived just before the starting time, nothing happened, they could register without any problem. So a few minutes before 11:00, we were led in. But we didn’t start the real activity until 11:20. We actually interacted with two other dolphins which were there from the beginning, different dolphins from the Encounter group, even different pool. Don’t know what we we’re waiting for🤷♀️ We were with our 2-year-old, waiting there for almost 1 hour! All these really made our experience...
Read moreWe visited Bali Exotic Marine Park with our kids, and it was such a memorable experience for the whole family. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and made sure we knew the schedule for shows and activities.
The biggest highlight for the kids was definitely the dolphin show and interaction. Watching the dolphins swim, jump, and play was magical, and our kids were completely mesmerized. The trainers also took the time to explain dolphin behavior and the importance of marine conservation in a way the children could understand. We joined a dolphin interaction session, and seeing the kids laugh and engage with these amazing animals up close was truly special.
The park is designed to be fun and educational, which I really appreciated. The kids were entertained while also learning about marine life, conservation, and the ocean in a safe, hands-on environment.
Facilities were very family-friendly – clean restrooms, shaded spots to rest, and a small café for snacks and drinks when needed. Everything felt safe and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax while the kids explored.
Overall, Bali Exotic Marine Park is perfect for families. Our children had a blast, we made some unforgettable memories, and it was both entertaining and educational. If you’re in Bali with kids, this is a must-visit for a fun, unique, and memorable experience beyond the usual beach and...
