Cagar Alam Depok — Attraction in Depok

Cagar Alam Depok, the oldest nature reserve in Depok, unfortunately seems to be in a poorly maintained condition. Despite this, visitors are allowed to enter with permission and without any agreement. The guards at the entrance of the reserve are friendly and are always ready to provide visitors with any information they might need about Tahura. However, it's important to note that there are no facilities for visitors in the reserve other than a 7.1-hectare area full of trees. Camping activities are not allowed in the reserve.

Hutan Cagar Alam adalah hutan konvensi yang diawasi kebijakannya oleh pemerintah, terdapat papan umum/peraturan bagi khalayak pada pagar hutan tersebut dan terdapat papan nama bagi beberapa pohon yang memiliki berbagai jenis.

Hutan ini dinamakan hutan lindung sebab sebagian kawasan ini masih dijaga sebagai hutan satu satunya di daerah 2/3 penyimpangan jalan ini maupun Pancoran Mas

Hutan ini dapat dinikmati keasriannya jika melewati seberang pinggiran jalan, untuk dahan/ranting beberapa pohon yang mendekati bahu jalan lebih diawasi oleh beberapa pihak.

((Hutan ini hanya bisa dinikmati keberadaan nya tanpa mencoba masuk didalamnya layaknya tempat rekreasi/camping, sebab kawasan ini kawasan Hutan Konvensi bukan kawasan Taman² Camping.))

Cagar Alam Depok merepukan salah satu cagar alam tertua ke 2 di Indonesia, terletak di pinggir jalan, yaitu jln Lapangan KONI 2, walaupun di pinggir jalan suasana teduh karena rindang pepohonan terasa, dengan luas 71 hektar cagar alam Depok difungsikan untuk pelestarian flora dan fauna dengan maksud tujuan untuk penelitian, pendidikan, budaya dan pariwisata.
