Coban Rondo Waterfall Pujon — Attraction in East Java

it is located around 5km from batu.

i initially thought that there is only an ordinary water fall, but i was wrong.

the water fall was well maintained. they have sufficient parking lots, souvenir shop, clear signage and good pavements.

after visiting the water fall, they also have a rest area, offers various games: horse riding, cycling, fish feeding, mini archery and my favourite: the labirynth.

it was so fun. kids love it so much.

The water fall is nice view, easy to reach. Either my 77 years old parents can reach the waterfall. This waterfall have a myth story, about one couple married (Dewi Anjarwati & Raden Baron Kusumo) after 36 days after their married they take the risk go to mountain Anjasmoro. Although their parent prohibited them, they still go there. On the way to the Anjasmoro mountain they met Joko Lelono from nowhere. He like Dewi Anjarwati, then they fought and Dewi Anjarwati hidden in the somewhere waterfall with the “Punakawan” who came along with Raden Baron. Unfortunately both of them died, and Dewi Anjarwati became a Widow (Rondo in Javanese) After that the waterfall (Coban in Javanesse) called Coban Rondo.

Near this area you can find some attraction game like labirin, etc and nice photo spot in there.

But the nice view didn’t follow by people who serve the area. Especially in Dacon Cafe the waiteress is very rude and bad attitude. The service is very bad and the food taste...

The place is very big and you have to drive a bit to reach the waterfall but it's nice and worth it the waterfall itself is not the biggest in Java but is quite nice, you can't get behind the waterfall but you can get in the stream going down it's shallow so you can get in without getting completely wet just make sure not to slip. As for the rest you can find Archery, paintball gun and the maze which are included in the ticket price that you pay at the gate when entering (as a foreigner you will pay a different price than locals) the price includes 4 shots with the paintball gun at a target and unlimited arrows for archery and entrance to the maze, it will be more fun to have someone on the post guiding you through the maze, you can also go one your own and try your luck in the middle you will find a fountain with some fish. On the path to and from the gate you are driving or walking through beautiful forest you may see monkeys, spiders and different bugs and animals if you pay...

Gonna have picture to make your instagram feeds awesome? yes you can, cause it has so many spots for you to take memorable pictures ... The waterfall is always beautiful, feel the fresh air and clean water, a satisfying short escape from your daily busy crowd work... Another activities you can do: camping, outbond, holiday with your love or family in villa, take a shoot, and many more you can ask the staffs for complete information. Just an idea: i think in the future this place can provide Yoga program, since the place support it i guess. And adding more games: simple rock climbing, trampoline,etc. But now it's already good and satisfying!...
