Monumen Kresek — Attraction in East Java

Well its a 45-minute trip from madiun city. The view going to the monument is soo beautiful. Once you arrive there you can just park right in front of the entrance for 3.000 rupiah. But amazingly the entrance is just 1.000 RUPIAH. I should say that this is the cheapest entrance in indonesian tourism. There is a hall you can use to take rest or lunch. And the park is beautifully made and there is also a olace to take a great picture with the umbrella in the ceelings. The monumet is in the 3rd floor the 1st is the park the 2nd floor is about the student monument and the 3rd floor you can see the brutality of the communist party in indonesia and also there is a letter from the victim of the brutallity of communist party in indonesia. Its quite hot in the cause literally no trees on top of 3rd floor sooo use your shades and prepare your umbrella. And alsp take some time to pray for the victims of the indonesia communist party...

Vakansi masa lalu dimulai dari monumen tentang peristiwa yang membuat Madiun dikenal dalam salah satu episode sejarah Indonesia. Bersama Septiya, si pemandu lokal yang gampang kegerahan, kami menapaki jejak-jejak perang saudara itu di tengah membaranya matahari.

Objek utama adalah patung yang menggambarkan sosok Musso dalam posisi akan memenggal kepala seorang ulama bernama Kiai Husen. Sungguh dramatiss. Patung hitam mengkilat dengan latar belakang Kresek yang hijau dan asri. Pada belakang patung Musso, terdapat relief yang menggambarkan pemberontakan komunis di Madiun dan upaya pemerintah Indonesia dalam memberantasnya. Sementara itu, pada bagian depan patung Musso, terdapat patung anak-anak dari korban yang menuntut pembelaan dari pemerintah Indonesia. Tersedia tangga dengan jumlah anak tangga yang filosofis untuk mencapai patung-patung tersebut yang letaknya di atas tebing.

Selain itu, terdapat pula monumen tugu batu yang menuliskan korban-korban pemberontakan. Pada bagian depannya, ada karya patung yang menggambarkan korban-korban pemberontakan. Disebutkan bahwa di area monumen tersebut dulunya merupakan sumur tempat para korban dibuang. Sumur kemudian ditutup dan dibuatkan monumen di atasnya. Tak jauh dari monumen tugu batu, ada semacam pendopo yang dulunya digunakan sebagai markas para pemberontak.

Mungkin yang perlu ditingkatkan adalah informasi/keterangan di setiap monumen yang ada. Memang sudah ada papan informasi, tetapi letaknya hanya di pendopo, sehingga kurang fleksibel jika pengunjung semisal sedang berada di atas tebing dan membutuhkan informasi tersebut.

Kompleks monumen cukup luas. Kami bahkan belum mengeksplor sisi kanan dari pintu masuk yang sepertinya area bermain anak dan warung makan. Lumayan banyak tempat berteduh. Pada bagian bawah tebing ada semacam kolam, tetapi kurang terpelihara. Ada toilet di dekat pendopo. Harga tiket masuk 5K dan parkir motor 2K.

Lokasinya agak jauh dari pusat kota, mungkin sekitar 30 menitan. Jalannya agak menanjak, tetapi aspalnya...
