Pantai Soge Pacitan — Attraction in Java

Soge Beach is a clear proof of the beauty of the archipelago in Pacitan, East Java besides Klayar Beach. The atmosphere is unspoiled and virgin, the navy blue is mesmerizing to enjoy, the scenery along the way stole the show. Soge Beach is located 50 km east of the city of Pacitan, to be precise in Sidomulyo Village, Ngadirojo District, Pacitan, East Java.

For those of you who often pass the Pacitan-Trenggalek route, of course you always encounter Soge Beach in Pacitan. Located along the Southern Crossing Line (JLS), this beach gives a nuance of natural beauty that is very dear to miss. Soge Beach, which is located on the edge of the highway, is the main attraction on this route. The natural atmosphere is still very natural, the blue sea is very enchanting to the eyes and the natural scenery around it. This beach is also very clean and has big waves.

From the city of Pacitan, follow the direction of the road to Arjowinangun Market, when right at the market post, take a right and continue to follow the main line of the Southern Cross Line. When you are driving on this lane, stop for a moment and park in the impromptu parking lot there and then get off right through the mouth of the river Soge. Many local visitors take their time to stop for just playing with the sand, playing with water, enjoying the cool sea breeze or even just sitting under a coconut tree while enjoying young coconut ice.

Apart from sitting around and playing with the sand, you can also go around the small lake by using a speed boat rented by local fishermen. The price is relatively cheap, only Rp. 15 thousand, you can circle the lake several times. This lake is formed from sea water that does not fully return to the sea when the phenomenon of low tide occurs because there is a high sand dune so that this white sand stretches in the middle.

Another view that is served around this beach is the Soge Bridge, which is on one of the Southern Crossways. Di sekitar pantai Soge ada sebuah kubangan air yang mirip danau. Danau ini terbentuk akibat adanya sebuah gundukan pasir yang menyebabkan air pasang tak bisa kembali ke laut karna terhalang gundukan tersebut. Danau ini dikelilingi oleh pohon kelapa yang membuat suasana disana benar-benar pantai banget

Untuk bisa sampai ke pantai Soge dibutuhkan waktu sekitar dua jam perjalanan naik kendaraan bermotor dari pusat kota Pacitan. Lokasi pantai ini berada di desa Sidomulyo, kecamatan Ngadirojo

First time for me to visit this beautiful beach in Pacitan, which is famous for beatiful beaches. As the most western regency of East Java, and located at the mountainous area, Pacitan is lack of infratructures. With the builds of Jalur Lintas Selatan National Roads, there many beaches open along the roads. Mostly these beaches are new. As far as my sights, there are still need many improvements for tourist industries here. I still could not find any hotels even for a small 2 or 3 stars hotels unless you are willing to go to Lorok, the nearest sub urban town.
