Read moreBeautiful and quiet water palace. We visited in the morning and were the only people there! However, from reading reviews I believe it stays quiet and is much less touristy than other spots.
We arrived at 06:45AM the park doesn’t open until 7AM but the gates were open. We were able to visit and pay when we left.
The palace is stunning. The grounds are beautifully kept. A wonderful place to walk in the morning in the cooler weather. We spent an hour here, but you could easily spend more time walking at a slower pace.
Cost of entry was 75K per person for tourists. I did not find this unreasonable considering the amount of work required to keep this palace immaculate (the gardens are pristine). Parking was free.

(Other places I had on my list nearby that we didn’t visit (incase your in the area): Virgin Beach, Black Sand Beach, Gumang Temple, Kusamba Beach (locals...
