The Kupikuki — Attraction in Kecamatan Palu Timur

I visit this place on two occasions, once on the afternoon, once in the evening.

This place feels weirdly comfortable. The interior and sitting arrangements is what you usually find in fine dining establishments. Though, to our surprise the price is on the low side, so your wallet should be save.

To summarize,

The good: Coffee is pretty good. But dear owner, please invest in better coffee grinder and esspresso machine. Not just for the taste, but esthetically speaking.

If you have sweet tooth, then this is a good place for you. You will met variety of deserts, frape, cake and pies.

Music is relaxing

The service or in this case, server, is superior. Very friendly too.

Very nice of them to give complimentary bread.

The neutral: If you are into food photography, don't come at night. The lighting is not exactly good for producing good contrast.

If you are some kind of coffee lover, do not expect much. And when you order, be as detailed as possible.

The bad: Nothing so far.

Not impressed by this place. The ambience and menu looked appealing. When I went through the menu writing down all the items I wanted, the waitress told me half of the items were out of stock including their salted egg sauce, which in about 5+ dishes. I don't understand how a cafe runs out of that much food. I just ended up leaving, not going to support a business with a large order then have to...

Sembari ngopi di sini saya iseng, baca-baca review orang lain tentang cafe ini di google maps, ada yang bilang, "customers can't come in with any bags of food", and I believed him. Di kasus saya karena di sini sepi dan baru dari bakery sebelah, jadi say nyemil deh satu lemper belanjaan sebelah, waiternya datang negur gak boleh makan makanan dari luar, bisa kena denda 20.000 per item (yang setelah saya toleh-toleh tidak terlihat peraturan denda tersebut), lucu aja, untuk cafe super sepi di jumat siang (hanya kami sendiri yang di tempat) sangat ketat ya. Tapi gpp, saya bisa menghargai peraturan cafe, jadi cemilannya saya bawa keluar makan.

Balik ke kualitas kopi, untuk americano yang saya pesan okelah, not bad. Latte nya hmmm coffee basednya oke, but too much milk for latte. Untuk harga masih affordable.

Di sini juga jualan cake-cake, tapi not interesting, especially not after the disappointment act I got🙄
