Taking a scenic self-guided scooter tour of the roads between Nusa Dua and Uluwata, I choose a blind date with a beach called Pandawa. It's about 12km/30mins from the Waterblow spot, and my hotel porter later tells me that this beach has really only become popular in the last 5 years, after some surfers made the place famous. I don't know whether that's true or not, but it's certainly worth the drive to take a look at the place. There are toll gates at the top of the approach road down to the beach, and it'll cost you Rp15k to gain access. There is a massive looking hotel development underway on your left as you head down, so clearly it's marked for further tourism development. The views from the top of the cliffs are stunning. There are some large deities placed inside hollowed out cavities in the cliff face beside the road. There is plenty of parking for vehicles, including a bunch of buses that were taking school kids of various ages to the beach. The water is warm and very inviting. There are lots of food and clothing stalls to work your way past to get down to the beach area, and these extend along the beach front to your left. Looks like there are plenty of water activities that you can do here, and lots of equipment to hire for the job. I decide to walk to the end of the beach pathway on the left, and on my way back I try out a hot, barbequed corn cob, which is pretty tasty. While munching my way through this, I get approached by 2 lots of students, who are seeking out English speaking tourists to conduct interviews with. Being a former TESOL teacher myself, I was happy to help them out, and ask them a few questions back. Overall, not a bad place to head for a swim and a surf, as there are a number of reasonable surf breaks with pretty...

This could go easily as five or even six stars rating if any, but there's one thing we hated and it seems no one knows who should be blamed. But before this, let's see what makes this place great.

Pros: An absolute beauty of place, a beautiful clear water, nice white sands although it's not the finest sands you can find Restaurants available all along the coast line, and its not even a fancy restaurant nor the beach club, but the small warung that provides a truly delicious and authentic Indonesian food such as: mie goreng, bakso, sup kari, ikan bakar, etc. Toilets are available Many shops provide souvenirs and clothing You can do kayaking too, but pls be aware of the waves as sometimes it can be very tough Ticket for locals are super cheap as it only costs us Rp 25K for two people at the time. I'm not sure about the expats price.

Cons (and the reason I have to give only 4 stars): Either you can get here using motor bike or rent a car or driver, because although online taxi app such as Gojek or Grab can drop passengers here on the beach but they WON'T allowed these online apps to pick up customers from the parking lot, due to the mgmt (as what the online driver says) have their own so called rent car service. Of course the ticket booth guys denies this and said any car can come and pick up, but two gojek drivers says different things. So if you don't bring your own vehicle, and want to use online taxis then be ready for some exercise to climb up all the way to the ticket lot for the pick up.

Other than that one, this place is truly magical. I...

Pandawa Beach exceeded my expectations and provided an unforgettable experience for my family! This picturesque destination is perfect for families seeking a combination of natural beauty, thrilling activities, and a serene atmosphere. The stunning cliffs surrounding the beach add an element of grandeur and create a mesmerizing backdrop.

While there were some seaweed at the shores, it did not overshadow the overall positive aspects of Pandawa Beach. In fact, it added a touch of authenticity and showcased the pristine nature of the environment.

For adventure enthusiasts, Pandawa Beach offers exciting opportunities for both surfing and paragliding. Riding the waves or soaring through the sky provides an adrenaline rush and a unique perspective of the beach's beauty.

Moreover, the beach is well-suited for families with amenities that cater to their needs. Clean facilities, food options, and shaded areas make it convenient and comfortable to spend a full day exploring and relaxing.

The warm and welcoming locals, along with the attentive staff, contribute to the inviting atmosphere of Pandawa Beach. They are always ready to assist and ensure a memorable experience for visitors.

Despite the seaweed presence, Pandawa Beach remains an enchanting destination for families. The breathtaking cliffs, thrilling activities, and serene ambiance make it a must-visit location. Don't miss the chance to create cherished memories while enjoying the best of what this incredible beach has to offer! 🏖️🌊⛰️ #PandawaBeach #FamilyParadise...

Bali DOES have beautiful beaches, you just have to know where to look… 🏖️ Usually found in the south, the yellow and white sand beaches here are not to be missed 😍 Tide times and time of year can vary, because unfortunately during rainy season more so, you can find a literal wave of rubbish washed up on some beaches. This is a worldwide problem, not just happening in Bali but in lots of destinations 🥺 The beaches featured in the video: 🏖️ Melasti Beach 🏖️ Padang Padang Beach 🏖️ Balangan Beach A few of our favourites in the south: 🌊 Nyang Nyang 🌊 Green Bowl Beach 🌊 Pandawa Beach 🌊 Gunung Payung 🌊 Suluban Beach Which other beaches should we explore in Bali? ☀️ #balitrip #balitravel #baliindonesia #balibeach #wonderfulindonesia #travelindonesia #beautifuldestinations #uluwatubali #creativetravelcouple #naturalwonders #bestbeaches #travelinspired #travelinspiration #traveldreamseekers #travelmoreworryless
