Roosterfish Beach Club — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

An underrated venue that was chanced across during a stay at the Renaissance in Uluwatu circa mid-November 2024 as these venues are run by Marriot Bonvoy. As others have remarked, this place does not have the usual Bali party beach club vibes, and it is more suited to families with kids are there were areas for them to play. Whilst we were there, there was a foam party which the kids there loved, and also live native owls for them to pet. Having said that, the latter two activities I don't think are on all the time though. The road outside is also something to remark upon, as along the hillside are elaborately carved statues which lend the journey there quite an epic feel. The vibe inside is very laid back and chilled, and I have to leave a review to highlight the service received from all the staff we encountered. There was more personal attention than the usual touristy beach party place, as it seemed all the staff made an effort to chat with us and discern any special needs. I recall making a chance remark in jest about 'ice kacang' which is a shaved ice desert and the staff went out of their way to make one for me even though it was not on the menu! My companions and I also had a surreal moment whilst we were chatting about cats, and lo and behold a kitten appeared below the seat of one of them. Purely by happenstance! The owner who was one of the staff came over and we told her to our delight that we were just talking about cats ... Above and beyond the call of duty, I have to commend Widia who personally drove us from the Roosterfish to the Renaissance as we had missed the shuttle van back to the resort. We had a nice chat with her on the way, and the supreme patience and kindness she showed really touched us. So, for those wanting a bit of a break from the hectic and frenetic, this is a perfect oasis of respite. Kudos...

If you’re planning to hang out at Pantai Pandawa, Roosterfish Beach Club is one of the best spots to enjoy the beach atmosphere in comfort. Located inside the Pandawa Beach area, you’ll need to pay the beach entrance fee (for us, two people with a car was IDR 21,000, including parking). The club offers direct beach access, a swimming pool, a restaurant, and even a kids’ foam party at around 4 PM on certain days.

The space is spacious and well-laid-out, with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Outdoor seating offers a great view facing the beach, but be prepared for heat and humidity during the day. The vibe is relaxed and family-friendly, with a kids’ playground and plenty of open space. There’s a dedicated dining area connected to the daybeds and beach access—though it’s unclear if daybed seating requires an additional fee.

Food-wise, don’t expect fine dining—it’s more of a place to enjoy casual beachside meals. The menu leans toward Western dishes, and while the all-you-can-eat option isn’t overly varied, the quality is good and ingredients seem premium. Pork ribs and pizza are solid picks. Service is excellent; staff are attentive, friendly, and proactive about refilling drinks. Some food on display might attract flies, but you can also order directly from the live cooking stations.

Overall, it’s a comfortable, well-run beach club that blends beach views, poolside lounging, and casual dining—perfect for couples, groups of friends, or families looking to relax by...

Inclusive visit, without entry fee for those staying at Renaissance Resort n Spa (Uluwattu). Came here for the scenery and outdoor canopy. We ordered a heap of finger foods and dishes for the two of us to enjoy the outdoor breeze. It just took a bit of time to get the trick of securing the side curtains so it doesn't blow directly into the canopy or food 🤣

Overall, a nice place to visit for welcoming atmosphere near the beach, and good vibes ☺️

On a side note The intro to chefs was pleasant and allowed me to give feedback on a preference. You even took initiative to help check what to do with our washed up shoes (as she offered to check with laundry, knowing we have a biking tour in less than 12-hours time).
