That was fantastic. You can see 2 waterfalls for 90K or all 4 for 120K. The other 2 are worth it in my opinion. And it's not at all crowded. Our guide was really, really nice and good. I think you do need him to take the much better route for all 4. You could also find the two hidden waterfalls without the guide, but it's more comfortable with one. And he was super, super nice. He told us a lot and took lots of nice photos of us. I definitely should have tipped him. Unfortunately, I only had a 100K note left. It was too much for me at the time. Afterwards, I was really annoyed with myself, because he was just really, really nice and would have deserved 100K himself. I'm really sorry. I think by European standards, a 20K-50K tip is totally OK. Considering that you had a really nice person by your side for roughly 2 hours. Who could also tell you a lot about nature and the plants. He wasn't pushy at all and gave us enough time for ourselves. Thank you again....
Read moreThere are two waterfalls in this geosite: benang stokel and benang kelambu. Benang stokel is the smaller of the two. You will pass benang stokel on the way to benang kelambu if you go on foot. You will miss benang stokel should you choose to take a ride (IDR 20K per person).
The walk to both waterfalls is not too strenuous, an ordinary person with an average level of fitness will do. Bear in mind that there are lots of steps on the way to the waterfalls. Make sure your knees are in good condition.
To get into the waterfall, you will have to hire a local tour guide (who sadly prefer foreigners rather than local/Indonesian tourists).
Plenty of local restaurants at the entrance, and a few of local stalls along the way selling drinks and a place to rest.

The way to the waterfalls sometimes might feel challenging for the uphill with the steps but the experience is worthy.
You need to pay entrance (90k/p ) and parking for the scooter ( 5k )
The water is cold, it shouldn’t be a problem but just be aware.
