This summer (2023) we did the Rinjani summit and the full tour of Desa Sembalun, Sembalun Camp, Rinjani Summit, Danau Segara Anak, Senaru camp, back to Desa Senaru over 3 days - 2 nights in camp. Our guide Rizal and the two porters were amazing. Rizal adapted to our rhythm. It is a demanding hike from time to time, Rizal was able to guide us to make the most demanding passages as pleasant as possible. In addition to that, and it is very important: the excellent cuisine/meals of the two porters, their attention on arrival at the camp where everything is ready and where we have only one thing to do: contemplate the landscapes and rest for the next step. In the beginning of June, 3 friends and me booked a Rinjani trekking tour of 2 days with Rizal. Everything was so well organized. They picked us up in Kuta and drove us all the way to the starting point. Included in the price was a one night stay before leaving the next morning. The place we stayed was a very nice homestay. Rizal was a very pleasant guide to be around. Also, the porters he picked were so friendly and incredible in their abilities to set everything up before we arrived and cooking the most delicious meals.
