I highly recommend this company to climb mount Rinjani.

Me and my friend just texted the owner via WhatsApp (you find it on their website) and easily arranged our trip. Because we didn't need accommodation, just pickup we ended up paying 2.500.000 IDR each. (We did the 3D 2N version btw and they were much cheaper than some other providers.) The group of 6 people was just right to get to know each other and trek together. Idk how it is in bigger groups but I guess worse. The guide spoke enough English to make conversation and to explain everything and was super friendly too. The porters also were very nice and even taught me some indonesian.

The (2 person ) tents were good although the mats were kinda thin but their sleeping bags kept us warm. (Just bring enough warm clothes to be sure)

We also rented hiking poles (you'll need them) for 50k a pair and small bags for the necessary stuff for 100k each. They got headlamps too (50k) but we had ours with us. The food was great too with fruit for dessert each time. They even brought sauce like chili, soy and ketchup.

So if any of you want to climb mount Rinjani make sure you do it with this...

I was originally planning to hike Mt. Rinjani, but when I found out it was closed, Stampol was recommended to me instead. The walk was really enjoyable—most of it is shaded, which was a big plus in the heat.

The trail is a relatively steep uphill to the summit, but it’s not too long, so most fitness levels should be able to manage it. The summit was absolutely beautiful—we had an amazing view over the crater, the lake, and even Mt. Rinjani in the distance. We watched the sunset over Bali and could see Mt. Agung and Mt. Batur on the horizon.

One thing I loved was that the summit is close to the campsite, so you don’t have to wake up at a crazy hour for sunrise—such a nice change!

Having completed Rinjani a few months ago, I’d definitely recommend Stampol if you’re looking for something a little gentler, but still a good challenge with incredible views.

The tour was really well run, clear communication and very smooth from start to finish. The porters and guides were incredible - so friendly and cooked amazing traditions food! We definitely did not go hungry...

Super expérience pour un day trip jusqu'au cratère du Rinjani avec mon fils de 16 ans ! Il y a tellement d'agences qui organisent des trekkings pour monter le Rinjani que nous ne savions pas laquelle choisir, et nous ne voulions pas nous tromper ! D'autres voyageurs nous ont conseillé cette agence, et nous ne regrettons pas du tout ! Quelle expérience incroyable ! Mr Hardy est une personne adorable, qui parle plusieurs langues, très sympathique, très arrangeant, et très professionnel. De plus, c'est une légende là-bas car son père fut un des premiers guides du Rinjani, et il a pris le relais avec + de 160 trekkings en tant que guide lui aussi. Autant dire qu'il connaît tout par cœur. Nous aurions voulu faire le trekking jusqu'au sommet sur 2 jours, mais malheureusement (à cause d'un changement sur notre vol retour pour rentrer en France), nous n'avions qu'un jour sur place à Senaru. Donc Mr Hardy s'est arrangé et nous a organisé un day-trip jusqu'au cratère sur la journée avec un super guide . Au programme, 2000m de dénivelé positif jusqu'au cratère, juste mon fils et moi (super car je n'aime pas marcher en groupe avec des gens qui n'ont pas le même rythme!), 3h30 de montée et 3h30 de descente avec 1h de pause en haut. Nous avons croisé pas mal de groupe qui faisait la même chose que nous mais en restant une nuit au cratère (avec le droit au lever du soleil le matin, ça doit être magnifique, si nous avions eu + de temps, nous l'aurions fait). Bref, grace à Mr Hardy, nous avons quand même pu aller au cratère sur la journée, et nous avons vécu un moment incroyable....
