Just visited this museum today and it’s fully satisfying. First of all, about the entrance ticket fee, it’s 25k and if u bring ur own DSLR u got additional 20k charge. This museum fully committed to their theme which is wayang, moreover they also has covered a lil bit about vintage things such as old records, historic stuff, even nostalgic toys. What strucj me the most is, each floor gave me different impression (this museum has 3 stories anyway, and the ticket earlier already covered them all). The first floor got the best concept, the third got the best stuff/display, and the second was the most terrifying it gave me chills till now lol. Even though this museum was managed by private org, i still hope the local government could invest more by improving the accessibility. I park my ride from Jl. Majapahit but still, the pedestrian track was so horrible that the only function it got left is just as a cover...

Due to the very intimate relationship between the founder of the museum and Pak Raden, Pak Raden bequathed probably all of his paintings to be housed in the museum as well as a number of personal items. The museum also displays wayang across the nation, Javanese leather puppets, golek puppets, and even Chinese cloth puppets.
