Jembatan kaca puncak gundaling berastagi — Attraction in North Sumatra

Jembatan Kaca Puncak Gundaling in Berastagi was such a pleasant surprise during my trip to Sumatra. It’s a glass bridge viewpoint located on a hilltop, and the views from up there are absolutely stunning—especially of Mount Sibayak and the surrounding highlands.

I went there for a short break and ended up staying longer than expected. The place has a small café where I grabbed a drink and relaxed while enjoying the cool mountain air. It was such a peaceful moment—sipping something warm and looking out over the volcanic landscape. If the weather is clear, you get a really amazing view of the active volcano and the lush scenery around it.

The glass platform adds a fun little thrill, especially if you’re not afraid of heights! It’s well-maintained and feels safe, with a great spot for taking dramatic photos. The area is family-friendly and not overly crowded, which makes it even more enjoyable.

It was actually not a brigde, just a platform. Not a big one, maybe fun enough for those who wanted a fun photo spot in Berastagi with mount Sinabung on the background.
