It was a random trip on ramadan with my friends. They asked me to have a camping at Sapo Juma. I thought it would be in the middle of jungle, but turned out it was a quite large yard which could fit about 5 camps provided by the management of Sapo Juma Homestay. So if you, especially Medanese people who is bored with the weekend activities in Medan, having a camping here is quite interesting. You don't need to bring anything, just contact them and they gonna prepare for the camp for you. There are also outdoor toilets near the camp site and it's quite clean so you don't need to worry. They also have cafe so if in the middle of the night you want to eat instant noodle and a cup of hot milo, they can make it for you lol. The price for a night also not too expensive. The view of lake toba when the sunrise is soooo beautiful! It is a fun experience to have with your friends!

The view is extremely beautiful 😍😍, you can see the other side of Lake Toba here. They have small flower garden and restaurant. They also have homestay but don't know available for public or not. They serve seafood menu but I don't think it is worth it. The taste is just so so. The price is a little bit more expensive. They also serve local coffee, the taste is so so. Don't get cheat by the durian seller around here. The durian's taste is not good and expensive. Entrance fee is applied. if I am not mistaken, it is about ten thousand rupiah for a person. The way here is quiet extreme, just prepare the information you need before you go and be careful. The toilet is horrible, it is smelly and very very very dirty 😖😖😖

Pros: Bagus banget ini tempatnya. View ke DanTob juga enak banget, ngga ketutup apapun langsung plong view ke danau, luar biasa. Makanan so-so dan murah meriah, gaperlu bawa bekal krn mereka jual juga. Kamar mandi bersih. Bunga2 juga indah. Pelayanan juga sangat TOP krn ramah2 banget semua staffnya. Cons: Tempat sedikit kurang terawat, agak semak di tamannya, tapi tetep cantik. Makanan boleh lebih ditingkatkan lagi dari segi rasa dan menu diperbanyak, walaupun sebenrnya sudah enak namun hal ini kan bisa jd nilai jual (boleh ditambahin dessert lah biar pengunjung senang). Kamar mandi di resto boleh lebih diperhatikan krn tidak semua pengunjung menginap sehingga satu2nya kamar mandi ya yang di resto, sudah bersih sebenrnya hanya kurang nyaman saja. Untuk penginapan nih, aku rasa perlu diperhatikan. Harga segitu seharusnya sudah dapet hotel berbintang 3 (atau setara). Namun yang ditawarkan oleh sapo juma masih dibawah standard. Okelah tempat tidur hanya berupa tilam saja (tanpa dipan) mungkin untuk konsep glamping atau apalah, kamar mandi juga diluar (ada air panas juga kok). Namun ngga ada sarapannya (ini tuh red warning banget) krn harganya sudah terlalu mahal kalo tidak include breakfast. Terutama mengingat daerah lumayan terpencil dan resto satu2nya ya di sapo juma. Sapo Juma jg tidak menyediakan amenities jd harus bawa sendiri (ini gimana sih konsepnya ga ngerti). Masa iya nginep sehari tp bawaan jd banyak krn harus bawa amenities sendiri. Overall, opini pribadiku, Sapo Juma ini hanya cocok untuk berkunjung saja. Kalo menginap msh banyak yg lebih worthed dari segi harga. Tapi... dr sisi pengalaman, menginap di Sapo Juma ini pasti luar biasa karena tempatnya cantik banget, banget banget!!

Sapo juma. The entrance fee is include parking fee. Beautiful place that can see lake toba clearly. Not only lake toba you can see, sapo juma also have a beautiful flower garden suitable for insta stories near the entrance. After tired of taking pictures, you can also rest at the restaurant. I have try some menu and all of them is tasty. (Forgot to take picture of the food). For the cleanliness of the environment and the cleanliness of the toilets it is very good but the visitors who come must also maintain the cleanliness of the environment as well. 🥰👍

Awalnya sempat ragu karena dengan harga tersebut fasilitas yang kita peroleh hanya - 1 kamar dengan 2 kasur ala jepang. Kamar mandi di luar (tersedia air panas). Tidak mendapat sarapan. Tetapi setelah pengalaman 1 malam dengan keluarga besar 9 dewasa 2 anak anak. Saya puas. Jika tidak karena keinginan untuk ekslpor tempat lain, suatu saat pasti ingin kembali. Mengapa? Suasana yang tdk ada duanya, kita akan disuguhkan danau toba langsung di depan kamar (mirip yang di sajikan resort s*mal*m). Begitu tiba langsung di sajikan bunga2 nan cantik. Udaranya segar dan dingin sekali saat malam tiba. Sapo juma juga berada dekat dengan taman bunga Jade Stream Garden ( saat ini tdk dibuka untuk umum) dan air terjun sipiso piso. Sapo juma sebenarnya memiliki taman yang indah di lerengnya sayang saat ini tdk terawat. Saya berharap saat kembali suatu saat nanti taman dengan kolam ikan tersebut kembali cantik. Yang serunya saat kami menginap tdk ada keluarga lain. Jd serasa punya villa pribadi. Malam hari kami juga memanfaatkan fasilitisas karaoke di gazebo utama . Kami juga di perbolehkan memasak sendiri, meski sapo juma juga menawarkan paket sarapan dan barbeque. Untuk yg ingin kesini baik nya jangan dari jalur sipiso piso agar tdk kena retribusi sipiso piso dan melewati jembatan kayu yg sudah mulai rusak . Tetapi dari berlawanan yaitu arah jalan maulana. Bersyukur Mba Iin menjelaskan saat kami menuju kesana. Buat kamu yang suka foto foto dan tdk suka keramaian pasti puas. See You soon Sapo Juma Tolong di "like" jika membantu. Thanks

the air is very fresh, still remembered when breathing the air, very different. the view that you can enjoy is the vastness of Lake Toba and the flower garden there. the flowers are also beautiful, you can take pictures with the flowers but don't damage them. family gathering place is very suitable there. for road access is quite complicated. I have examples of photos, hopefully you are interested. Sorry if the photos are not comfortable in your eyes.
