Beautiful view off the cliff! Getting there was quite a ride. There is no asphalted road for about 4 KM to the spot and at some places it is pretty steep. But all that effort is totally worth once we get there! When I went, there was only a couple trying to find the spot just like I did. There are two view points. One that you can just walk towards the edge and you find a small opening at the bush. The view is great from here. But there is another that requires you to get down a bit slightly and it is sketchy to say the least. You gotta be sure-footed to get there. One false move and you have very less chances to stay over the cliff. But again, the view from there is incredible. I did not risk going all the way down at this point as I was wearing a slippery slow and there was sand on the surface. But there is a mid point where you can still see the Banah and the rest of the cliff! Surely a hidden gem in the island until there is a road paved allowing tourists to...

If you can find this hidden gem at the end of the cliff, past the bushes and the bumpy Road, then you are lucky😍😍 its so amazing here, and it was No one else than our group of 4 ppl there🙏

The road down there is bumpy and not really good. Would recommend to drive carefully🛵

Depending on where you drive from, Google maps might try to take you through the jungle instead of on the Nice road, so If you look at Google maps and see 2 Roads leading to this place, make sure you go straight and not right. It might say that the right way is 2 min faster, but its not😂😅 its just a walkingpath in the jungle...

There are no entrance fee here, and you can find many warung on the way If you are hungry. You should also drive once the sun dips the water so you have time to hit good the Road before it gets completely dark. 🙏

If this review helped, please leave a 👍 for support. Good luck on your penida...

The place is a bit out of the way and the road leading up to the cliffs is not that well maintained so our driver drove very slowly and on our way back we saw that some tourists had had a scooter accident so please take care if on a scooter. When u arrive it doesnt look like much but as soon as you walk past the bushes the view opens up and its stunning - photos cannot do it justice you have to see it in person. There are some VERY dangerous, steep steps (often with no handrails or gaurdrails) that lead to slightly different angles/vistas. We went down some of the way and then decided it was a bit too much and turned back....

The ferry from Bali to Nusa Penida leaves 4 times a day: 8 AM, 9 AM, 10:30 AM, 16 PM, and 17 PM. The ferry takes 30 – 40 minutes. There are no pier at Nusa Penida; you have to get on and off the boat walking through the water, so it’s advised to wear a flip flop so you can take it off quickly. Nusa Penida can be done as a day trip if you’re short on time otherwise you can easily spend 2-3 nights to thoroughly enjoy what the island has to offer. I chose to do a day trip all arranged by @explorenusapenida as I had limited time. Have you heard of Nusa Penida?
