Been here. The road to reach this location is bumpy & bad (most of the road on the bottom island is like this - at least on early 2019). I reach this location just because of the "waterfall" title, and when I reach here, asking the seller in Warung about the location, she said it took about 20 minutes hike down to reach the waterfall, and some tourist just arrive on the hike up back to parking area; said the hiking trail was quite steep, that's when I decided to cancel my intention to go down and just taking pictures on the hill top view only, lol đ
If you plan to go down, you should prepare your courage, stamina and water, as the road seems quite challenging, and from what I saw in other's people photos of the waterfall, it's not a huge waterfall at all, but the view of the ocean and hill from the bottom seems breathtaking.
Go here if you like the adventure, but if you come to only taking pictures and easy access from the parking for a "wow" view, better considering other options like the Kelingking Beach (at least the hill view is easy), and Bukit Teletubbies in the middle of...
Read moreCan't actually rate the waterfall itself as we never made it to the end. There are 2 ways to access it. One is through a really narrow and steep path, but it quite far from it, so you would need to use a scooter (although a few people we met mentioned they had fallen from their scooter when trying to use that path). The other way is much easier to access with a scooter (there is a parking, small shop, temple, etc.) but you have to walk down to the waterfall. The path seems fine initially as there are some steps (steep) but after walking for 5 minutes, the steps disappear and you end up having to walk on the edge of a cliff with a tiny bamboo handrail to hold on to. We walked down for 15min and decided to turn round as we felt this was too dangerous (and scary!), so probably...
Read moreThe road to the waterfall passes through a village and is not properly built. Once you reach the edge of the cliff, you would see the path to go downwards to the waterfall. Since we have done a few treks, we thought we will be able to do it. At first it was just few steps then a downward path, then a steep drop. We were hell scared but we kept going thinking it will all be worth it at the end. I dont know if we had reached half way or not but we realised it was too steep and there is no point in going down. So we didnt finish the trek and came back up. The coconut seller at the cliff told us, he goes down in 10 minutes. But we are glad we didnt do it. There was no-one with us and one slip could have resulted in our death. There is no entry or...
