Excellent communication from the get-go. Emails and whatsapp messages were replied promptly. Doni was assigned to us for our Bukittinggi trip - he was friendly, respectful, punctual, and was a skillful driver. We liked that he catered the trip to our needs (we have my elderly in laws in the group) and pace, instead of a rushed itinerary..certainly made our vacation a pleasant one. He brought us to some gems around the region - delicious local eateries (instead of very touristy ones), the beautiful Puncak Lawang , and a shop called Tangkelek which showcased a contemporary take on the Minang culture. Doni even got us his family’s sambal ijo recipe for us to replicate back home 😁. I highly recommend Padang private drivers if you’re going to explore West Sumatra - and do ask for Doni for an excellent trip all around!
