Located in the heart of Bali's countryside, this waterfall provides both beauty and tranquility, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

Pros:

Stunning Scenery: The waterfall is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water cascading down from a great height, surrounded by dense tropical foliage. The surrounding landscape is lush and green, creating a peaceful and awe-inspiring atmosphere. Refreshing Experience: The water is cool and refreshing, making it the perfect place to take a dip and enjoy the natural beauty. The surrounding pool is ideal for a quick swim, providing a rejuvenating experience. Accessibility: Depending on the waterfall, it may require a bit of a hike to reach, but the path is usually well-maintained, and the journey offers beautiful views of the surrounding area. Perfect for Photography: The waterfall is incredibly photogenic, with its misty spray and surrounding jungle making for perfect photos, especially for those seeking a snapshot of Bali’s natural beauty. Cons:

Crowds: Some popular waterfalls can get crowded, especially during peak tourist seasons. To enjoy a more peaceful visit, consider going early in the morning. Slippery Paths: The paths leading to the waterfall can sometimes be slippery, so proper footwear is...

I'm not a hater but, you know what the funny thing is ? The ticket booth and the entrance to the waterfall are 2 completely different directions. Entrance to the waterfall isn't being guarded and literally anybody can just enter. Naturally I've entered from a different direction and I did not see any personnel / security / any booth.

I went into the waterfall and, to be honest, there isn't much to see from the picture and most of the high reviews provided here are because:

People have not seen other better waterfalls This is a waterfall that allows people to swim quite deep into at the bottom part of the waterfall

When exiting the waterfall, this particular personnel for some reason instead of observing the safety of the people at the pool, choose to tell me not to lean against the railing and questioned me whether I have the ticket, in a very rude manner like I'm some sort of thief. I've explained that I literally did not see any booth (BECAUSE THE TICKET BOOTH AND THE ENTRANCE ARE 2 DIFFERENT PLACES), in which he demanded for me to pay for it. Naturally, I paid for it and went up the stairs and eventually found the booth to be on a couple minutes opposite sides of the road.

Worst waterfall experience ever just because there isn't any proper signage and the waterfall...

Peaceful Waterfall Near Ubud — Worth a Visit

Taman Sari Waterfall is a lovely spot if you’re looking for a quiet, natural escape near Ubud. It’s about 30–40 minutes away and not too crowded, especially in the morning. The waterfall has two levels — the top is gentle and calm, and the bottom has a bigger pool where you can swim and relax.

What’s good:

• Entrance is affordable: 30K IDR for adults, 20K IDR for kids. • Beautiful jungle surroundings and great photo spots. • Staff are friendly and try hard to keep the area clean. • Easy to reach and close to other waterfalls like Tibumana.

Things to know:

• The water isn’t crystal clear, but staff clean it regularly. • There’s one toilet and a changing room, but both are not very clean and smell bad.

Tips:

• Go early for a peaceful experience and better lighting for photos. • Bring swimwear, a towel, and water shoes. • Combine with nearby waterfalls for a fun half-day trip.

Even with a few downsides, I really enjoyed my visit. It’s a calm and beautiful place to relax and enjoy nature. Would definitely recommend it if you’re...
