We had the pleasure of dining at Warung Makan Padi Kuning and it was truly a delightful experience. The cozy ambiance, nestled amidst lush greenery, set the perfect tone for a relaxing afternoon.
The menu offered a fantastic array of both traditional Balinese and some chinese dishes. I couldn't resist trying the local specialties, and they did not disappoint. The flavors were authentic and made with great care.
What truly stood out was the impeccable service. The staff was not only friendly but also knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations. It's evident that they take pride in ensuring each guest has a memorable time.
To top it all off, the restaurant's commitment to using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients shone through in every dish. It's clear that they prioritize quality in their food.
I highly recommend the warung to anyone visiting Bali who seeks an authentic and charming dining experience. It's a hidden gem that deserves recognition for its fantastic cuisine, warm ambiance, and exceptional service. I can't wait to return on my next...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWarung Makan is an absolute MUST. It is a hidden gem, nestled amongst the backdrop of beautiful scenery. The food and hospitality were exceptional and probably up with the best I have experienced. I cannot praise Kormung enough- her cooking and hospitality is sensational. She was there on her own and whipped us up the most delicious Nasi Goreng. It was flavoursome and fresh- she literally made it from scratch. Kormung really went above and beyond with her service. She even gave us a home made brownie as part of the temple ceremony, and she gave us blessings. I have to say visiting her Warung made my day. You will not be disappointed with the food or service, so do yourself a favour and stop in for a meal. Iāll definitely be back upon my next...

Wayan and his wife have both worked in hotel restaurants for 25 years before starting their own Warung amongst the rice fields. They were so welcoming, and both speak very good English too. Such a beautiful atmosphere and amazing food, freshly prepared. I had the fried chicken which came with a tomato garlic sauce which wasn't too spicy at all (I'm not good with chilli!) It came with fresh potato chips and rice and was the best fried chicken I have tasted, perfectly crispy. And the sauce was amazing over everything! And then I had to order a banana pancake for dessert with honey and lime - so yummy. I highly recommend - Yasmine from...
