We came here around 5 PM – it still felt a bit hot. The best time to visit is probably between 6 PM and 7 PM.

There are tons of warungs and local food stalls. Prices are clearly displayed, so no need to worry about tourist traps.

You'll also find lots of rental bikes and electric toy cars for kids. My son had a great time driving an electric car in the designated play area. The fee was 20,000 IDR for about 20–30 minutes.

Unfortunately, his experience was cut short due to some careless tourists (likely local, from the same country as Tanjung Pinang) who were riding their electric bikes recklessly. A group of girls sped through the area and even caused an accident. They were riding too fast and created a dangerous situation for the kids, including mine. It was disappointing – a reminder that bad tourists exist everywhere, no matter the country.

Safety Note: Always keep an eye on your child and be aware of others using the rental toys. Not all riders follow the rules, and accidents can happen quickly.

Also, be cautious of cars and motorbikes while walking around the food stalls. Some riders go through the area at high speed, which is risky in such a crowded space.

You can also relax and sit by the sea to enjoy the sunset – a beautiful and peaceful moment.

Overall: 8/10 It’s a nice place for an evening outing, especially for local food and sunset views. Just be mindful of traffic, choose cleaner warungs, and always watch your surroundings. No one wants their trip spoiled by food poisoning...

A great place to hangout with friends or family, and to bring kids to play here. Also great for morning jog around the seaside. The park benches are everywhere, you can sit and watch sunrise and sunset and chill. There are several PKL but they won't be any disturbance to your chill day, in fact, they're so neat and you'll need them to get some food and beverages.

The Gonggong museum is also great. You can take a lot of photos and I heard the sunset is really great from up there. Definitely recommended if you want have...

Tempat yang sebenarnya bagus. Tapi disekitarnya tidak terlalu bersih, banyak yang tidak peduli dengan sampah, mereka banyak yang tidak peduli, disekitar daerah ini para pedagang banyak yang tidak menampilkan tempat dagangannya, tidak elok di pandang mata, padahal tempat yang disediakan pemerintah sangat memadai, jangan asal berjualan saja, artistik sedikitlah dan juga tertata, saya yakin pemerintah telah membantu. Jika begitu terutama pelancong yang dari negara tetangga akan melihat betapa tidak bersih dan tertata nya kita. Semoga pemerintah memberikan peraturan yang bisa membuat kota tanjungpinang menjadi destinasi unggulan di kepri. Kebersihan ditanjungpinang ini harus di gaungkan sebagai sesuatu yg harus dipatuhi warganya, semoga ada sanksi dan hukuman jika tidak mengindahkan bagi pembuang sampah yg sembarangan. Mulai dari RT untuk menerapkan KEBERSIHAN YG BERKELANJUTAN dilingkungannya yang tentunya ini diarahkan walikota ke jajarannya, semoga kota kira tanjungpinang pinang menjadi salah satu kota terbersih...
