A beach with beautiful scenery, good wave, but far enough!
I visited Nglambor Beach twice. The first time was better. The weather was nice. I had snorkeling and swam there. We got there after camped at Siung Beach at the night before. The wave was good for swim and snorkel. But it was too crowded to find fish. And maybe we got late too. Fish always come in the morning, or in afternoon... We could rent the snorkel equipment for about 60k (i dont know these days price)
This was the second: My friends and I went at 1st January, with rain and jam over the way. It tooks 3 hours from Jogja (via Street wonosari) with scooters. We got there about 5 oclock. It was so dark, because it was rain whole day. But we kept going, and find another traveler at the beach. It was too dangerous and scary to swam, so we just played around at the water on the beach. We carry out the wave coing to the beach. It was joyful. We found some crabs and fish. The crabs was nice. They were pink!!
I suggest you to get here by Dlingo way. There is no jam like Wonosari street. And get here at weekday, do not go at...

The price is not so expensive just IDR 5k. You will be drop to the beach directly. But if you want to walk you will get very good view of the beach from the top. You can choose by your self. In beach also you can snokeling or just relax in the sand.. but if you want swiming please be carefull because the rock is very slipery you can get hurt if you not becarefull. Snokeling in there is not so expensive just IDR 50 k per person. You get all the stuff you to snokeling and also get photo.. but sorry to say for me is not so good. U just bring swiming glass and you can enjoy like you are snokeling. And the best thing is you dont need to take a line. I recomended you bring you stuff by your self. The best time you can go there is 6.am - 10.am and also 3.pm - 6.pm. dont worry about the rest room or toilet.. there is many in there and also who...
Read moreNglambor Beach is an exotic beach located in Purwodadi Village, Tepus Subdistrict, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta Special Region. The location is just west of Siung Beach and east of Jogan Beach. Nglambor Beach is not as wide as Sepanjang beach or as beautiful as Indyaranti Beach, but this beach is unique in that it can be used for snorkeling. Water conditions on the beach that resemble this basin are safe for swimming and snorkeling because there are two coral reefs located in the middle of the sea. Coral reefs that look like giant turtles function as breakwaters and wave restraints. So that the waves that reach the beach are not large and tend to be calm.
Slow waves make marine biota and coral reefs thrive. The water on this beach is clear, so you can see to the bottom of the sea. The combination then made Nglambor Beach suitable...
