We were hesitant about making the trip due to the 2+ hour drive from Kuta, but we're so glad we went! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by friendly staff and surrounded by all sorts of animals we could interact with - petting, holding, feeding, and more. The animals seemed happy and well cared for, and many were rescued. We enjoyed the orangutan experience with high tea, and Kiki the orangutan was hilarious. The staff took amazing photos with our phone/camera, which we'll always treasure. The high tea selection was delicious, with a variety of sandwiches and sweets. Read moreWe had a fantastic experience at this wildlife park, even though our time was limited. The park is home to a variety of local rescue animals, and it was amazing to see how well they are cared for. The staff clearly love what they do, and the animals seem to have a great bond with them.
We were fortunate to have what felt like a private tour, getting up close and personal with many of the animals. It was truly special to interact with them and learn about their stories. I highly recommend buying a basket of fruit—it was such a fun way to feed and connect with the animals.

It was hard to see a lot of the birds sitting on the “display” branches in the pouring rain on each side of the walkway, unable to move themselves to shelter (they clearly all had their wings clipped).
