Rangsot inn — Hotel in Lombok

This is by far the best place I have stayed at in all of my travels. When we arrived, we were welcomed with fresh coconuts and cashews (a local product). The family and small village were extremely welcoming of us and shared snacks (fried cassava, mangoes, roasted peanuts), and treated us like part of their own family. We have never been so welcomed before at an accommodation. The rooms were very comfortable (we had a room with a fan, which was a very comfortable temperature). They had many activities available including tours to coffee, cashew, and honey farms, interaction with locals in the village, and you could hike up the nearby hill for sunrise and sunset. Unfortunately, I had recently injured my knee and my partner was not feeling great from our previous travel, so we did not do the activities around the village. We were able to share snacks and partake in regular life with the family where we were treated like a family extension which was so welcoming. The food they served for breakfast and dinner was incredible and so much food! The grounds were beautiful with many chickens and plants everywhere. Mamba and others were happy to answer our questions about local life, Indonesia history, and Muslim traditions and religion. Would highly recommend staying at this place if you are interested in a peaceful area in a small village learning about the local life. We wished we could have stayed much longer here. I would give six stars if I could! It’s hard to put into words the beautiful feelings I’m leaving Lombok with, and that’s all thanks to Rangsot Inn. This charming, locally-run guesthouse made me feel like part of the family from the moment I arrived. I was always comfortable, always welcomed. Abdul, the owner, is incredibly kind and attentive to every need of his guests. Dinners were absolutely amazing, thank you especially to Makanbagus for those unforgettable meals! And a heartfelt thank-you to Indri, who served me a delicious breakfast every single morning with such warmth. A special mention goes to Mullombok, who helped me create a fully personalized tour of the island. As a solo traveler, I always felt safe, supported, and in great company. Here I felt like I had come home to Indonesia, not in a hotel.The back door of the bungalow we stayed in opened onto a forest and it was amazing.The owner of the business is a very good personVery helpful and makes you feel like one of the familyIt was also very nicely designed and very clean.At first I was worried about the location. But then I saw that banks and central places are very close so there is no problem.They made dinner anyway, and it might be the most delicious meal I've ever had in my life.I was sorry I didn't have enough time to stay there.
