Kampuang Sarasah — Attraction in West Sumatra

I never knew Payakumbuah had an attraction like this. At first glance, I smirked bcs I really find it annoying how people build replicas of other cities as atrractions like there’s nothing else to highlight. And it did feel that way, especially knowing West Sumatera has a rich Minangese culture.

But having been there with my nieces and sisters, I understand why this is actually a good thing. For a lot of these visitors, this may be the next best thing after a Euro or Korean/Japan trip, which most Indonesians can’t afford. Much more so as well the Japan/Korean/European parks are well built as in it’s not cheap looking or anything. The truth is, this is a great idea to be realized into a reality. A large playground for your family built in the middle of the valley. Actually the correct name of the place is "Kampung Sarosah". There are many attractive object for you to try, there are Sampan, small traditional wooden boat for rent. Korean spot also available for hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) rent for photography. European mini spot with replica of The Eiffel Tower, Stonehenge, replica of windmills from amsterdam and many other.. Pertama datang ke Payakumbuh dapat info tempat wisata ini, Lembah Harau sekaligus Kampuang Sarasah ini (1 area), perjalanan dari Payakumbuh sekitar 15 km dan jalanan berkelok-kelok mendekati titik point maps nya sepi dan kecil hanya cukup 1 mobil/1 jalur/1 arah karena memang diatur seperti itu (ga bisa puter balik) supaya bisa menikmati semua keindahan view yg ditawarkan yaitu perpaduan lembah dan tebing plus beberapa air terjun dan beberapa homestay keren n area camping sampai ke Kampuang Sarasah yg akhirnya menuju arah keluar/kembali ke jalan raya masuk kota Payakumbuh 👍 plus good vibes, asri,udara segar dan banyak spot foto instagramable tentunya 😍😍👏👏 Kampuang Sarasah ini terdiri dari miniatur ikon beberapa negara (Menara Eiffel, kincir angin Belanda, Big Ben London dll) dan Rumah Gadang (rumah adat Minang) yg juga disewakan (penginapan) ada jga persewaan baju Korea dan aneka wahana permainan (sepeda air, sampan dll), kantin/stan makanan, lahan parkir luas dan fasilitas umum (toilet, mushola) yg bersih 👌 Utk loket masuk terjangkau, worth it dg yg didapatkan apalagi kalo beli tiket terusan 40ribu/org bisa masuk semua nya: kampung Korea, kampung Eropa, secret garden dan dapet free minum (harga di luar wahana permainan) 👍👍 Kabarnya tempat wisata ini sempat tutup dan memang lengang sih, ga banyak bertemu pengunjung lainnya 😁 tpi semoga next pengelola dan pihak terkait bisa mengembangkan destinasi keren ini semakin menarik, terawat, tertata dan lebih berdaya beli tinggi/menarik minat banyak wisatawan dalam maupun...
