برج کاشانه بسطام یکی از آثار تاریخی و برجسته شهر بسطام در استان سمنان است. این برج که به سده هشتم هجری قمری بازمیگردد، در جنوب شهر بسطام و در نزدیکی مسجد جامع بسطام واقع شده است. برج کاشانه با ارتفاعی حدود ۲۰ متر از بیرون و ۲۴ متر از درون، یکی از بلندترین برجهای تاریخی منطقه به شمار میرود. برج کاشانه دارای ساختاری استوانه ای با نقشهای ستاره ای شکل و ۲۵ دندانه است که به زیبایی و استحکام آن افزوده است. در بالای برج، دو حاشیه از آجرهای بزرگ وجود دارد که بر روی آنها کتیبه هایی به خط ثلث نوشته شده است. این کتیبه ها شامل آیات قرآنی و نام بانیان برج هستند که نشاندهنده اهمیت مذهبی و تاریخی این بنا است برج کاشانه به دلیل معماری خاص و زیبای خود، از اهمیت ویژه ای برخوردار است. برخی از محققان معتقدند که این برج در ابتدا به عنوان آتشکده زرتشتیان قبل از اسلام بوده و بعدها به برج آرامگاهی تبدیل شده است. همچنین، برخی از خاورشناسان بر این باورند که این برج از آثار غازانخان مغول است و نام اصلی آن "غازانه" بوده که به مرور زمان به "کاشانه"...
