Neyshabur or Nishapur meaning “New City of Shapur”, “Fair Shapur”, or “Perfect built of Shapur”) is a city in Razavi Khorasan Province, capital of the Nishapur County and former capital of Province Khorasan, in northeastern Iran, situated in a fertile plain at the foot of the Binalud Mountains. Nishapur occupies an important strategic position astride the old Silk Road that linked Anatolia and the Mediterranean Sea with China. On the Silk Road, Nishapur has often defined the flexible frontier between the Iranian plateau and Central Asia. The town derived its name from its reputed founder, the Sassanian king Shapur I, who is said to have established it in the 3rd century CE. Nearby the city are the turquoise mines that supplied the world with turquoise for at least two millennia. Nishapur during the Islamic Golden Age, especially the 9th and 10th centuries, was one of the great centers of pottery and related arts. پروژه پلانتاریوم خیام نزدیک ۲۵ سال پیش استارت خورد و تازه سال ۱۴۰۳ برای بازدید مردمی افتتاح شده است. در شهریور ۱۴۰۳ فعلا فقط گروه های از قبل هماهنگ شده امکان بازدید دارن و برای عموم باز نیست. ورودی مجموعه خاکی یه و داخل مجموعه هم واقعا افتضاحه و رنگ دیوار ها ریخته و حتی با وجود مبلغ بالای بلیت (۱۸۰ هزار تومان) تابلو ها خراب و خاکی یه. یک موزه قلب داره که چند عکس از آناتومی به یاد پروفسور صادقی آویزون کردن که هیچ ربطی به نجوم نداره. تنها مورد متفاوت خود پلانتاریوم هست که بزرگ ترین در خاورمیانه س ولی کیفیت اون فاجعه س و فقط ۱۰ دقیقه اولش خوبه و نیم ساعت دیگه فقط سرگیجه میگیرید. نه تنها افتخاری برای نیشابور نیست بلکه یادگاری از ۲۵ سال ضعف مدیریتی هست که هنوز...

پارک این مجموعه کاملا مجهز و سرسبز و زیبا است. پارکینگ رایگان. محل اتراق و چادر زدن هم محیا است. سرویس بهداشتی و مکان مخصوص ظرف و دست شستن. در ظلع جنوب شرقی پارک هم مغازه، هایپرمارکت، فست فود و رستوران هم وجود داره که میتونید خرید کنید.
