Read moreThere is amazing lake in Tehran! A great place to take the family on a day out, however, crazy busy during peak periods on Thursday evenings and Fridays, with long queues for parking.
Located at the lake are bike hire huts which is great to use on the designated cycling track that circumnavigates the lake.
There is a food court located in the centre of the park, with dishes from Pizza, kebabs and must try grilled Rainbow Trout served with Jacket Potato.
A fairly decent amusement park is also located in the area with rides and games, a horror house, death slide and variety of other attractions.
The lake itself offers boat rides and pedalo rides, and the waters are teaming with fish that love to be fed on the shores.
At sunset, this lake is stunning as it reflects the burnt orange sun, and as night approaches, the ligjts of the surrounding towers give the lake an almost Dubai/Doha feel.
Watch out for people BBQ'ing at the park, at certain places, although it smells good, the smoke can be overwhelming.
Overall, a nice place. Kids love it and its something to do and...
