Kilkee Waterworld — Attraction in County Clare

A cold day in kilkee decided to bring the 6 year old in. €27 for 2 of us and 2 hats. Maybe I went in on a bad end of week but was filthy in general was kind of shocked as it isn't reopened long. Changing room floors, the walls in the pool to general walk ways near exit to the slide all manky with grime. Even standing on the steps on way up the slide they were mank and its bad when a 6 year old is pointing it out, the lifeguard wooden stool had empty coke zero cans on it at the top and loads of leaks coming from the slide as you see the piping underneath, bit scary to think it hasn't been upgraded properly since I was a teenager 20 years ago...Overall...

Decided to take the grandkids to Waterworld Kilkee today as a treat. Was shocked at the price of €10 per person, no matter what age. So €40 for 2 adults and 2 children. We were in Leisureland, Salthill last week and paid €25 for a family ticket of 2 adults and 2 children. On entering the toilets the smell of urine was very strong and overpowering. The pool itself was full of algae around it, which I think is not very good in the times we are in . The young teenage staff on reception could definitely have done with a more senior staff member being present. Will definitely be returning to Salthill but not...

Charlotte was effectively managing the building solo in a June day. She has management potential. 5star-employee. BUT : It was closed. And overpriced. No changing facilities available for baby changing. The vending machines are empty. charge everyone seven euros, not a tenner each. Its like they're laundering the cash but they have the potential for family friendly beach parties.BECAUSE: My toddler was not impressed that she was on her holidays.
