Fabolous beach... Good one for a dip or walk on the shore...loads of children and family come over the weekend.... Waves are small so good for the kids to play. lot of jelly fish washed at the shore 🙁 . Clear water u can see the sand...There are lot of jelly fish as well... I was told that the purple/pink ones don't sting...the one with brown stripes do sting but the pain lasts for 30 mins Max (personal experience of my husband 😃). So not very dangerous...... There is parking available.... It's a paid parking. There is toilet available. Have a coffee shop which sells few muffins, crisps and croissant. Disappointed when travelling around kilkee because access dips on pavements do not correspond to accesss at opposite side of road. Hence my pavement scooter had to travel on the road in places before I could re access the pavement. Also if there is an access dip or ramp it has to be FLAT. Most mobility scooters will tip over if higher than a couple of inches. That said you cannot beat the beautiful horse shoe beach, scenery , and fresh air here. Great digging sand for kids. Like something from 1918 instead of 2018. Just could not describe how bad it really was.
