Absolutely beautiful beach. But. It's infested with jellyfish. Like 100s of em all over the sand and i tried to ignore them and go swimming and seen 4 or 5 around me in the water. Big dinner plate sized ones. We had 2 small kids that were determined to get wet and dirty so we went into the little river that goes across the beach. I was obviously watching the water like a hawk so theu didn't get stung and I seen a weever fish come up out of the sand and swim off so I dunno whats going on in the place but its very not suitable for kids. Lovely to look at and go for a walk with shoes on. Not recommended for small kids. So unfortunate becuase its absolutely stunning...

The far end even has some caves to explore. Even if you don't cross the last river, it's still a lovely long walk there and back with a coffee van in the car park. Recommend parking in the car park at the Port Salon end of the beach as it has lots of spaces and some...

It was stormy, while we were up there, & there was no one else around. The views here, if I may say are spectacular & if you are over here in Ireland, it is well, worth a visit. Come & visit this spectacular area of County Donegal (Ireland)....
